Hi everyone, long time. i've been doing SEO since 2015 and been working with clients. I had been using BHW for a long time but things came to a standstill at around 2019. Worked with a few in-house teams to see if a 9-5 felt any different after avoiding it for so long but, its still the same. Need to be my own boss and have my own thing.

I'm familiar with the world of SEO and IM, but never dedicated myself to it. I think that needs to change and thats why i am here to get some much needed support from the BHW family. I know that this forum has a lot to offer and the limit to it is what i am willing to work for. And that is why I have planned to work from scratch.
I'm already standing on the shoulder of a giant like BHW so i'm sure that the heights i can achieve will be more than i can imagine(giving myself some pep talk lol), just need to work at it! Need to also refresh my knowledge on a lot of subjects so that i'm up to date with all the trends(Maybe i should compile it as i go hmm)

My Plan:
Setting up an Agency model and slowly diversify the services that i offer. Going to start very small and slowly build repo and fame. Going to start with Website building, SEO content, local SEO(ideally) and then move onto other offerings.
Just got a domain yesterday, waiting to get a cheap hosting and then I can start churning(so counting yesterday as Day1).

Just hoping BHW will keep me honest to myself. Going to start a journey tomorrow(just writing this is giving me the mental jujubes but that's why i'm here).
ps: Also started working out as of yesterday so its going to be a complete physical, mental and financial overhaul in the works :)

Thanks in advance :P
Glad to be here :)

This is how to write a real Introduction instead of just Hello BHW, welcome here and enjoy your stay.

Hi Daoist,
Welcome back! It's great to see someone with your experience and passion diving back into the world of SEO and IM. It's understandable that the 9-5 wasn't fulfilling—many of us here thrive on the independence and creativity that comes with being our own boss.
Starting fresh with the goal of setting up your own agency sounds like an exciting journey! Your plan to begin with website building, SEO content, and local SEO is solid. Starting small and building your reputation is a smart approach, especially in the ever-evolving world of SEO.
BHW is indeed a treasure trove of knowledge and support. As you mentioned, the only limit is what you're willing to work for, and it sounds like you have the drive
and determination to make it happen. Here are a few tips to help you along your journey:
  1. Continuous Learning: SEO trends and algorithms are constantly changing. Stay updated by following reputable SEO blogs, attending webinars, and participating in forums like BHW.
  2. Networking: Engage with the BHW community regularly. Share your insights, ask questions, and offer help where you can. Building relationships here can lead to valuable partnerships and opportunities.
  3. Documentation: As you mentioned, compiling your refreshed knowledge as you go is a great idea. Consider starting a blog or a personal journal to document your journey and learnings. This can also help establish your authority in the field.
  4. Small Wins: Celebrate small victories along the way. Each new client, successful project, or milestone reached is a step toward your ultimate goal.
  5. Feedback: Don't hesitate to seek feedback from the community. Whether it's about your website, service offerings, or marketing strategies, constructive criticism can be incredibly valuable.
Your holistic approach to not just professional but also physical and mental well-being is commendable. Balancing these aspects will surely contribute to your overall success.
Looking forward to seeing your progress and contributions here. Wishing you all the best on your journey!

Cheers,
