Internet Marketing and Morality

Because it 's cost effective, like coal.

There's alternative sources of fuel. Vegetable oil is one of them and it is very cost effective.

So why isn't vegetable oil being promoted? Because you can make it yourself.

And if you can make it yourself, the government can't tax you.

Because the government controls the supply of money via the central bank and sovereign dept which the banks recycle for a premium and lend the government :)

I was referring to the guy who said money isn't created out of thin air. lol

Actually banks borrow the money from you that they use for lending to others.

Hence it is money they don't have. If you don't have it, and you don't, otherwise you would not be borrowing, they don't have it either.

That's why if you have a savings account or CD with them they pay you interest (also why you get charged for taking it out early). They just loan that same money out at a higher rate than whay they pay for it. That's how they can afford to give you things like "free" checking accounts. Banks are essentially investors but they invest in people, in the form of personal loans, more often than other businesses. They can't loan out money they don't really have though. For instance if you even buy a home they'll have to send payment to the home owner. Yes, it is money they've borrowed but if you take out a personal loan then that cash you get from it is still yours even if you have to pay it back.

That's understandable though it still doesn't mean that the banks have this money, why are banks going bankrupt? Most of the banks lend money they never truly had.

ShadeDream, I think you're only seeing part of the picture here but I've helped get this thread off on a tangent accidently instead of the original topic which was morality in marketing and not how finance works. So I guess it's unfair to talk about this further here. You're welcome to start another thread on that subject instead if you'd like to though. I'd be happy to continue our little debate with you there if you'd like.

No it isn't. Don't buy the hype. Also, have you thought what happens when land is used to produce bio-diesel instead of food? People die from hanger in Africa because food prices go high. See, the economy is a bit more complex than some old guy in Youtube and his minions want you to know :)

I know :)

I do see what you mean in your replies, and I understand it. Though there's still more to it.

I'm not really keen on debating about this, not because I don't want to but more then not because to be honest it is a waste of time. :)

Have you ever worked with vegetable oil?

I know there's a lot of hype about all sorts of stuff on YouTube. But that's not where I found out about vegetable oil.

Vegetable oil is already being taxed in the UK, why? Because it's all about money.

If everyone started using it, the government would have a hard time taxing people for fuel.

Petrol companies would go bankrupt if people were able to make their own fuel.

Vegetable oil is recyclable.

In the UK before 2011, you were able to use 2500 liters of vegetable oil before any tax was involved. Now it's become a flat rate of 20p per liter.

What goes around, comes around, I believe in this as well.

There's a spiritual purpose in each and everyone's life, my religion (Christianity) teaches that you'll be treated the same way you treat others and that's 100% true. On the other hand, besides the spiritual aspect, I'm won't ever let myself do to such things for money. I have a friend, he refused to sell CB products because most of it is junk and people are more likely to get tricked.

There's an awful thing called "programming", many people are programmed that rich people are evil, money is bad and cruel stuff like this. You can't be honest if you are rich, such bullshit! My friend once told me that he would rather be happy & poor than rich & evil. I was like WTF ?! I was programmed myself, just realized that it's complete BS. If anyone wants to clear mind from such things read "Get smart, healthy and rich" by Randy Gage.

P.S Money made in such ways as stealing, rubbing, tricking and even gambling isn't acceptable for me.

No, I 'm not into the fuel business, are you?

Vegetable oil is already being taxed in the UK, why? Because it's all about money.

Because the government needs money to pay for its expenses.

If everyone started using it, the government would have a hard time taxing people for fuel.

You underestimate the greediness of the state. Or perhaps you 're not paying your TV license? ;)

Petrol companies would go bankrupt if people were able to make their own fuel.

And I care because...?

Simple thing is simple. If vegetable oil is more cost effective, it will move on to replace fossil fuel. If not, people will keep thinking it 's a big sabotage by the petrol companies :)

You don't care, but the petrol companies do.

Vegetable oil would be more cost effective for the general public, definitely not for the petrol companies and government.

When I read some of the replies you make I feel like I might as well just talk to the wall in front of me.

Why do we exist? How are you going to reply to that? lol

Some people can sleep at night knowing they scammed someone. Others cannot.
If I was to promote this product I would lose sleep over it but others may do as they wish. I cant be responsible for the actions of others.

I mean, Ponzi scams are illegal but saying you don't like pasta is not. To some this may seem very different but I feel very strongly about pasta... Personally, I feel people should be fined at minimum for saying such things. Still, it is a free world, or sort of. If there should be a law against it it won't be long before there is, we elected people to take care of that job. Till then, the ones not losing sleep over putting someone in worse trouble than he was can promote as they wish. The people that don't read contracts will soon learn, just like learning fire is hot. Dangerous products warnings spread too hence the article and this thread itself for that matter.

On a side note, money is hurting technology. People with rare diseases get told there is no research done for their illness because there are not enough of them to make it profitable. It is not that there is nobody willing to research on it but just that the ones now owning the research process don't fund it since these are the medical companies themselves. And yes I know about the so called independence layer. Very little truly independent research is done and so those people are left to die. Literary at times.
Also, there are evil rumors that say energy companies buy patents that could be potential competitors and then bury it if no profit can be made. Other companies do this too btw so we shouldn't look badly at the companies for doing this as it is just good business. Primary aim for a company is to make money and human lives have price tags, this includes ending them prematurely when stakes are high enough. To say money doesn't hurt technology at times? It used to help, these days it is starting to hurt imho.
