Hi guys!
my question is about internal link in a quite big ecommerce, more ore less 150 product categories and thousands of products.
Every category has some filter the user can add to filter the products in page; the filtered pages have this URL domain.com/main-category/subcategory-one/?filter1=value but have also a canonical to domain.com/main-category/subcategory-one/.
In the footer of the main category page we have some link to the subcategory and also to some filtered page, the ones canonicalized.
Here my questions:

Here my questions:
- what is the value of the internal link to canonicalized urls?
- do you think that the page rank passed from the starting page to the destination page (canonicalized) is passed to the canonical page or that link (and anchor text) is useless for seo purposes?
- do you think it's a waste of crawl budget?
