Yes but remember the search volume on YouTube is not the same as in Google so you have to do a lot of testing with keywords.

i have heard of this method for very long time but never tried it. Tonight i just made a video and now i'm going to give it a try. I will update on here with in 48 hours :)

Do you think we can use less than 50k views for ranking 1 keyword ? my keyword got around 2 millions search and he is pretty Young, so i will be happy to get your advice.

thanks

it will never die unless YouTube get beat via facebook ....

Facebook live video is amazing and going very strong

Ok just so everyone stop asking if it works.

So it went very slowly before it catched on (when peak in US for viewership).

Been doing this since 2015 and I have had videos since then going strong with 1kvph since then and they actually just went down So I figured I'd add a few new ones and see if the method still works. Seems like it and I expect these to climb up to around 1kvph at peak times over the next few days.

Going to take it even further so I setup 3 "new" channels. They've been aged since 2015 and have a few older videos but never used them really.

Remember, I did this way back and it still works pretty much the same. But I get my views mostly through suggestions and not rankings even though the video do rank decently. I never relied on the rankings as those fluctuate and even sometimes drop way to low. If you are suggested on a really popular video however that is evergreen. You can expect to stay there as long as your video is high quality and gets enough ctr from the video you are suggested on. This is how I use it and it has worked out pretty well for me.
This is the views on 1 out of 3 channels that I have had since 2015: Total views and ended up earning me around 15k$ over that time which is a nice profit for having uploaded a few videos and never looked at it again. Now when earnings are gone I kinda missed them and thought I'd spend some time building it out more.

EDIT: Btw youtube sent an update yesterday so views are being removed in real-time :P So wait a few days to hear what suppliers have to say. I had 3 videos waiting to go public but views then started to get removed and I did public one video just to see and it then had 390 out of 20k views ordered. It still gets some traction but thats mainly because its the same niche and the tags I use.

Would this method work if you're not using your own videos?

We're operating in a niche where there are a lot of product related videos on YouTube/affiliate videos - could we just upload the videos of the manufacturers to our channel?

it can work on any video, the problem with other users content is that some videos may get copyright warnings that might risk your account, but some will never get discovered...

added you (ceilanks) i will need to use your socialmedia service a ton and i have a question, thanks.
you are welcome to ask me anything on skype

yes it will, the longer the tail is, it will be easier to rank and maintain position for longer period

yes, it's a very old method, good luck in your testings

each niche is different, there is no one-rule for minimum traffic for ranking, the current competition is a factor as well

Anyone can confirm that is still working? In this case i will try again cause for me didnt work unfortunaly
i didn't test it yet after this week YT update, hope they didn't change anything...

Something new ?
yes check this thread https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-instant-re-rank-trick-for-de-ranked-youtube-videos.977146/

After a month of trying this method these are my results. It ranked my video with a low to medium competition keyword at number 1 in Google and Youtube. However i tried it with a high competition keyword and it was difficult to rank in either Youtube or Google. I guess anyone who knows how to manipulate this so that high competition keywords can be ranked should share what is to be done.

The unlisted method is still alive I can see evidence of this on Youtube. Some views sources could of been hit by this update.

Since the recent update it's difdicult to rank, even when using this method.
