Instagram's hashtagging not as effective?

I just started getting on the Instagram game, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on hashtags? I think you can only do 30 hashtags or your caption disappears when you post a image. Also, some of my images doesn't show up at the top of the designated hashtags.

Any idea why his is happening? My thought is that Instagram is preventing people to just do mass hashtags to get their photos on top of the search. If this is the case, any tips or pointers?

I think they have any other Algorithm to appear Image by # Tag.

Dont do follow for follow hashtags. Those followers that you gain will end up useless and inactive

I don't use those follow 4 follow tags, I normally do like fashion, exercising, or any typical ones.

There an app called TagForLikes download it's an excellent tool.

IMO, hashtags has always given me crappy traffic. Meaning users that don't convert since these guys have already been spammed by marketers before.

I get quality traffic by custom scraping photos while commenting and liking on them.

you gain easy likes from using (photo related) hashtags, though i think what paper-boy says works better: scrape pictures: like them or comment them. Comments with follow 4 follow usually works better since you scrape also pictures which could be related to your niche....
