Hi everyone,

Last year, I was posting around 10 times a day across 3-5 accounts using Publer, and the results were surprisingly strong.

I’ve now built a system that generates UGC-style content for my niche and is ready to publish through an API. The part I’m trying to understand is how Instagram’s spam and bot-detection systems might react to this kind of setup today, especially when scaling beyond a handful of pages.

I’m planning on using the PostForMe API, with the broader goal of scaling everything. Since there's no need to manage the accounts, the only action is publishing content (not automating DMs, comments, likes, follows, or anything similar) - I think API-based posting should do the job and using a phone farm or direct device automation is not necessary.

Someone I work with has been posting on roughly ten pages through an API for the past year. The accounts were initially set up and warmed up manually, and after that, they were mostly left alone while the publishing ran through the API. The results have been solid.

So from this my understanding is: If the account is trusted and not bot flagged, you can just have it post through an Api. To scale this I would start by buying accounts that were created on mobile devices with 2FA, if that fails I would look deeper into getting warmed up/trusted accounts.

Apart from this I’m trying to understand where the likely failure points are when scaling this kind of operation:

As far as I see it the only contact points with my IP would be during account setup in the beginning (after purchase) and during the api authorization.
I've had the idea to assign a specific number of accounts to a residential proxy. Something like each 10 accounts get one residential proxy to prevent IP issues.

But yeah, so far I haven't been much into stuff like this tech wise, and I think I might not be aware of stuff I should be of. So I'm looking for some advice and insights!

Cheers and tanks in advance!

If you're only posting through the API, the main risk is usually the accounts and content, not the API. Older, trusted accounts usually do better than fresh ones. Just avoid scaling too fast and posting the same content everywhere.

If you're already seeing good results with API posting, you can just focus less on the posting method itself and more on keeping the accounts looking active and natural over time. i myself othen scale publishing successfully, but issues often appear when every account follows the exact same patterns, content cadence, and behavior.
