Instagram true old username, blocking, viewer etc...

So I've been harassed with a clique of people which led me to develop a bit of a paranoia especially spawning from a lack of answers. Yesterday some profile I'm supposed to work with were lost as followers for seemingly being deactivated but I can't for the life of me figure out whether they really were deactivated/suspended, or changed their username and/or blocked me.

The reason why despite them appearing in my "deactivated profiles" section and checking on anonymous viewers and even friends instagram, is that I remember being block by a person and then the profile not appearing not only on my account, but also another one that is not in the same account center and more importantly another one I have access to but didn't even create and has nothing to do with my infos, which led me to believe that Instagram will actually hide accounts on an IP basis.

So I've been scratching my head very hard to truly figure out what's the status of those account. Also because of this but also the harassement I mentioned, I've also been trying to figure out how to find the history of old usernames, which with the instagram user ID should be hard, but haven't found tools, maybe Osintgram which I could try.

So any help appreciated!

Open their profile in an incognito window and in your logged-in account, if you see it when logged out but not in your account, you’re blocked, if it’s gone both times, they deactivated or changed their username.

Thanks, at this point at don't think I'm blocked (yet) because they're account haven't been displaying on any platform or account. However I'd like to know how to figure out what they changed their username to and even generally how to find old usernames.

Surely with the user IDs and some tools it must be possible?

Nope, unfortunatelly it isn't possible to find if they switched their username and blocked you. You don't know their new username, so you're out for good interacting with that account except you find it manually if you're that 0.000000001% lucky

Instagram can be really opaque with how it hides or restricts profiles sometimes it does feel like IP or device level blocking For username history Osintgram might help or try tools like IG Lookup or old cached links if available

There's 2 of them that disappeared the same way at the same time with a strong suspicion they know each other, and I know a lot of people in common so probably not impossible. I asked a friend I met with to look them up and another friend remote on another messaging tool to look up their page but they were shown as being not found, so I don't if IP matters but the problem is we also follow each other with these friends, which I don't if it counts.

In any cases that would mean Instagram is blanked hiding the account from anonymous insta viewers, IP or even remote friend following me, so I think it still leaves the scenario were they either blocked me and changed their name (which is extremely important for me to figure out as I'm being harassed and it would mean they say crazy false shit behind my back to have them do that) or for some reason they deactivated their account despite being quite active.

I'm trying to find old cache pages but it seems complicated with Google or even Start Page, as for Osintgram I only have the potential previous name and no user ID, could it still find new or even past username/user ID?

Addendum: found one of the user's old FB page if it helps, also their soundcloud page which still list the same instagram address. But again when trying with Anonymous insta viewer, or even using Start Page, and a friend who's remote (so not the same IP but we do follow each other), the page was not being shown as active. Is there still a way they really could have blocked me and/or change username or is it really more likely they just deactivated their account.
