Instagram tips and knowledge please!

Hello!

So I've been reading a lot of BHW and decided to start my Instagram journey. I won't be posting any of it yet though, as I want to have more knowledge and comfort using IG. Still, I feel that there's still room for improvement, but I don't know exactly what to do.

So I started to days ago, on Friday 31th of August, I picked my niche and used an two months old account that I've created myself.

I started with 36 followers, and as now, I'm having 393 followers. I'm posting minimum three and maximum 6 post a day every hour, from 2 PM to 6 PM GMT 4 and an average of 30 likes per photo. I'm following 405 accounts.


So I have some questions.

First, am I following too many accounts?
How do you think I'm going?
Is IG something you make money of yourself?
By focusing everyday on this, how much time do you think I'll take to start earning money?
Is it best to dropshipping or to sell shoutouts?

You are doing well if you are growing organically. I’d try to keep accounts that you are following, under the amount of accounts that follow you. Look more credible that way.

Yes IG is something I’m making money through myself in various ways.

To be honest, if you are planning on selling shoutouts, it will be a very long and painful road ahead unless you step to the dark side if you are planning on growing organically. Even with bots it will take time. My best botted account is growing at 4k/month but for anyone to actually buy shoutouts from you, you need to be over 50k at least. Even then it’s peanuts.

I’ve had success with dropshipping with a very small account (5k at the time) but it wasn’t much... like $60/day (revenue not profit) before i got bored of it.

I think the best way to monetize IG is by collecting emails through your bio. Offer something for free that has a value.. like “10 steps to get ..desirable result in your niche...” then in order for them to get it, you grab their email and start building a list.

Or you can be one of those fellas who buy 100k followers and then go around selling useless shoutouts for $25 a pop (don’t be that guy).

I would focus on building a list. You don’t need 100k followers to start making money through Instagram.
