I have 2 things I want to accomplish:
1) I need to be able to save new follower's usernames every day. I want to see the warmup cycle of a new follower - i.e. how many days on average it takes someone to convert from being a follower into a customer.
Seemed like a simple ask, though most tools like Hootsuite would have that feature - but no, the best I can do is to display the number of new followers on a given day, not specific usernames.
Tried running a daily scrape via phantomparser and others - used 4 accounts in a chain to have some wiggle room in terms of rate limits (the account is ~10k subs), also tried instahero - all of them returned about 9k followers, with "new" followers being users who didn't get picked up on previous runs.
Their support said its a limit on the side of IG.
Other solutions just take waaay too long to scrape - one of the monly scraped 300 followers in 3 hours.
So question 1: are there tools that can help with that? Idk, maybe they can read notifications and mark down new followers - I don't care about historical data.
I'm fine just automating a google sheet with formulas that saves new followers each day, as long as I can automate this completely.
2) I need to be able to scrape ~100k followers across multiple accounts per day, reliably. Here I don't care if I only get 90% of the followers, I just need a solution where I don't need to change scraping accounts every X days, and I can actually scrape that many in a day.
Found some solutions that did that - but they were really expensive, but surely there's an easier way.
