So, for the past day I've been screwing around trying to make my Instagram API bots work better with the new(unsigned) limitations and discovered something really interesting. Turns out the only limit you have on your account is the 5000 requests/hour limit. I found a method to bypass the API limits but you're going to need to be a developer to do it (or at least can talk to your developer about implementing it). Just follow these steps: 1. Use the current access token until you reach the max amount of actions you can do. Until you receive a 429 error response saying you have exceeded the limit. Repeat this for all tokens if using multiple in your bot 2. After all the tokens' limits have been exceeded, send a POST request over to: instagram.cm/oauth/revoke_access (add an O between C and M) and in the body include "token=TOKENHERE". Send it and the token will be revoked. Repeat for all tokens. 3. Re-authenticate your clients. 4. Get new access tokens. 5. Tada, you now can use these access tokens over and over again without being limited to the new restrictions.
