Most likely they just change the metadata and speed of the video and post. You can do it with the same ffmpeg.

A feature in Instagram you can copy any video by adding 0.1 seconds video. Or a photo it is crazy I TRIED it and get 2m views in only one week

So both or all the videos got good views/went viral? Did you change the metadata and did you upload them on the same account?
