Instagram reels reupload

Over the past couple months, I've noticed multiple instagram accounts simply uploading the same reels again and getting new reach - all three videos are exactly the same.

I assume its some version of changing the metadata, any idea to how this is done?

Check if they are remix that has 0.1seconds of black screen at the end it is a method to copy other videos

Multiple accounts, eh? There must have been some sort of subtle edits or changes to the reels or it's been marked as spam already, I assume. Might be a case of exploiting something while it hasn't been fixed or the reels are changed ever so slightly enough to fly under the radar. Could be either or a combination of other factors.

I have seen a lot of instagram page promoting onlyfans. I think how their views spike is that they are using called "collab" features.

This feature has been out for a good while now since you can post the specific video and the other page if they accept your post, your post that you collab with will be viewed by other pages. Making it more people seeing it >> to the reels algorithm. I think what that brand or dropshipping do is that they probably hit up some famous meme page who offered "collab" promotion. And proceed to spend few dollars posting the same shit over and over. I don't think the algorithm knows it was spammed.

yes that’s right but they mainly do this with very explicit content, so when instagram restricts this video the meme page doesn’t get banned/deleted but the second colab account (the burner account) gets banned/deleted.
