Most likely they just change the metadata and speed of the video and post. You can do it with the same ffmpeg.

Over the past couple months, I've noticed multiple instagram accounts simply uploading the same reels again and getting new reach - all three videos are exactly the same.View attachment 231630

I assume its some version of changing the metadata, any idea to how this is done?

A feature in Instagram you can copy any video by adding 0.1 seconds video. Or a photo it is crazy I TRIED it and get 2m views in only one week
