Instagram Popular Page

What's up with these trashy photos getting on the popular page? I see little kids with their minecraft tshirts and 5 likes making the explore tab and I can't seem to figure out if it's a glitch or a new update or what...
Also, if you're one of the kids with a minecraft tshirt and 5 likes....sorry

 

Dude, I saw a guy with like 4 pics on the same popular page... I think that instagram made a fatal change to their algo for getting on the popular page and now a bunch of noobs are getting on there.

 

You need to delete your history search and you'll be able to see the popular pages as always

 

I don't really see any pictures hence I would suggest you to try clearing you cache and search history. It should be all better then.

 

clear the cache search history..

 

It now shows what your friends like.

 

instagram is acting like facebook
it gives preference to your friends then to friends of friends

Still no effect, I will say that it's not every picture but more than half that appear are photos with 150 likes or less and no comments.

 

yes it's a mix of things that you have viewed or people you follow and a then the other half is true popular and fast liking.
