While somewhat of an ambiguous title, hopefully some of you can clear up any confusion and offer some good advice. Engagement groups have been a powerful tool to help boost content to the Explore page, but I can't help but notice several people on here growing increasingly skeptical about this method by the week. I'm not here to debate whether or not the algorithm is actually cracking down on engagement groups, I'm looking for a smarter replacement to this method. From what I understand, the alternative strategy (instagram networks) is based on the same premise - huge power users (accts with 100k+ followers) are all linked together to help promote a single post. My question is how else are you guys building these networks while keeping them safe? I've heard of people building massive "dummy" accts to help boost their primary account while I've also heard of people simply connecting with massive independent accts that have the similar goal of boosting their accounts. Is anyone doing something like this? I've been searching BHW threads for any hint of a strategy that touches on this, yet haven't found anything definitive. Again, not a thread to discuss the legitimacy of engagement groups.
