Hey guys, hope everything is going well.

I was hoping someone could help me make the right decision for my Instagram account.
My account has 27k+ real followers and the niche is self/personal-development, motivation, inspiration, books, spirituality, philosophy and a little bit of fitness. (The page is growing with ~100 per day)

First I started selling t-shirts through Spreadshirt and those kind of websites but it just wasn't worth it made like 200$ in a a couple of months. (Nice but I guess not my thing.)

After this I started a forum focused on personal development and such and it's not really active although it's getting 750+ page views a day. I used Adsense to monetize and I'm making an amazing 3 cents per day.

(I'm probably keeping it and going to get vBulletin so it might get more popular.)

I came up with the idea to do some affiliate marketing with a site like Amazon and I could promote/recommend books I like.

I guess my question is. Would it be worth it? Promoting books through Amazon?
I don't want to spam my followers with something that isn't going to work you know.

Hoping anyone has some advice and maybe other ideas.

Thanks in advance. :)

Have you tried selling shout outs?

You can also open up a blog and monetize it with Adsense AND Amazon Aff like you said, OR a simple Amazon Aff site, could be E-comerce or reviews site

Thanks for the reply.
I've sold shout-outs on Fiverr but for me it isn't worth it.
I'm pretty close to my followers as it is like a lot of spiritual inspiration, motivation and stuff like that so spamming them with shout-outs just feels wrong.
The forum I have now also has a blog but the Adsense just isn't making good money..

What do you mean by E-comerce or review site?
Would the Amazon Affiliating be worth it? People would definitely buy but I heard you get like 5% or something.

E-commerce: You create a "store" where you sell (redirecting to Amazon)the books and other stuff related to your niche, and Reviews site, you just post reviews of the stuff you would recommend. And yes the commission is low (but increases the more you sell).

Why don't you write a simple e-book, you can also hire a ghost writer in one of the freelancing sites

Thanks for the advice will check this out. Any links on E-commerce?
