Hello everyone, I'm new here and this is my first time posting on an English-speaking forum, so please bear with me. I'm looking for some insights and would really appreciate your thoughts.

My question is about the difficulty of achieving success on Instagram from scratch using an AI influencer. Specifically, my goal is to run an Instagram account featuring a virtual female character created with AI, with the intention of monetizing the content through subscription-based platforms like OnlyFans, and similar services.

I've been struggling for about a year now, despite putting in a lot of effort, and I feel like I'm at rock bottom. I'm really hoping to connect with some of you and have a conversation about this topic. Any advice, experiences, or perspectives you could share would be incredibly helpful. Starting from scratch with an AI influencer is hella tough, especially when you're tryna grow on IG and push to subs like OnlyFans. It’s more than just pretty pics, you gotta build a vibe, a story, and really connect. Think personality + consistency. Also, don’t sleep on TikTok or Reddit to drive traffic. IG alone won’t cut it these days. It’s a grind fr, but with the right angle and some hustle, you can def make it work.

I have 6 years of experience working on Instagram. I have always had no problem reaching millions of reach. Except for the last year.
Now I feel like a cripple, lol

Focus on defining your niche, posting high quality content, and engaging with your audience through, stories and reels.
 
There are people that are doing AI models. Specifically using Reels. However, if you are going to post that stuff, make sure to follow instagram guidelines and clearly state that its ai. What I have seen is that people dont write it and then instagram flags the whole account. They are fine with AI as long as it is clearly stated.
 
Good luck on your journey, your avatar is good but if you wanna stand in the crowd of ai influencers/ofm need more realism and of course hard core marketing and always remember don't show too much nudity/nsfw in IG
 
i started one week ago and i have 28 organic followers, and i post between IG, Threads and i have a subscription tier on Patreon, on Fanvue they don let me create an account, what can i do to improve engagment?thanks
 
TikTok organic traffic can be a faster growth path than Instagram for AI faces.

OnlyFans doesn’t completely ban AI, but they do have some very strict conditions. They don’t allow deepfakes or content that impersonates others, and all AI-generated content must be clearly labeled (e.g., #AI)
 
AI-based influencers are a fascinating niche, but scaling from scratch takes more than just stunning visuals. You’ll need a well-planned content strategy, human-like engagement style, and clever storytelling.

Perhaps the writer is looking for a job where an AI-generated image or video can be used for multiple social networks to increase customer reach and optimize time and costs, firiend.
