INSTAGRAM - inactive username

Hello guys.

I was searching for that on google but i did not found anything useful.

Maybe anyone of you have expirience with that, the thing is, i want an username on instagram that is already taken but the point is that the username/acc is inactive. Last post was on 5.1.2016.
User is not responding to my message i think he/she dont even have this acc anymore or is not using it thats for sure.

Is there any possible way i can get this username, can i do anything? Maybe multiple reports will get this acc banned and nickname will be free?

If this account get banned, you can't get this username

I'm trying to get an Instagram username that doesn't exist but when I try to change mine is says "sorry a user with that name already exists" if I search and mention the name I want it says user not found.
Does anyone know how long it takes for it to be available? Presumably it was taken and the persons changed or deleted it? I've been waiting for months now.
