Here is a few tips for you, forget about automation and try to make it organically. You have enough followers to make posts go viral.

  • Just post good content, with good hashtags that you know you can rank for and try to create some controversy in your captions. Analyze your competition, check what they post and what went viral and download it and repost it with a good caption. In the travel niche, you could do a lot of things like making versus posts and ask your followers what they like the most: a picture of Lisbon vs Barcelone, ask in the caption what city they like the most or which city they want to visit. Reply to every comment to increase engagement. This will help you rank for hashtags and increase your chances to go viral.
  • Check your analytics. You need a business account for that. You'll find out what post performed the best for you. Look for posts that got you the most followers and promote it using Facebook ads. Do a few tests to find your best audience and it will add up fast. Choose Trafic or boost engagement and put a url to your profile. Do one for a few days, see how much followers you get. Do the other for a few days and see how much followers you get. The one that performed the best is the one you should keep doing. Don't do both at the same time, because you won't be able to track which one gives you the most followers.
  • You can also pay influencers to give you story shoutouts. If you do that, turn your account on private. The page will share your posts or give you a shoutout and people who will see this will click and land on your profile. If they want to see your content, they have to follow you. Post a good call to action in your bio to increase chances of getting followers. You can say that you post coupon codes for airbnb, booking.com or wathever and that they should follow you to get deals.
  • Another thing you can do is target bloggers or hotels, or wathever. Post stories and tag them when you do a kind of review. Be an ass kisser, they will be flattered and some will share your story to their followers because they love good reviews that might convince their followers to buy their products. Exemple: search for a blogger who has an instagram account with a decent amount of followers. Make a story where you tag them and say that their last blog post gives a lot of awesome tips to travel for cheap...Some will share it because it will be a kind of social proof and you get free exposure.

These are ideas, think outside the box and I'm telling you it will work fine! I'm planning on building a travel page too, these were things I thought I would do. Hope it helps you!

Not gonna lie, I am super surprised that's no one acknowledged your input. This is good advice

You can follow this guide and create your own proxies.
This creates only a Datacentre proxy and st 3-5$ is quiet expensive. Its better to create a bigger vps and just add IPs @1$ to it if you want mutiple proxies and can even run jarvee on that. Still Datacentre proxies are not at all working for instagram. I have 40 Ips and none of them is working perfecty on any of the accounts.

Yes that was some.good advice for a theme/ repost account but won't work for a personal account that I am trying to grow.

Story viewing has been doing pretty well for me! View 100k stories based on likes, comments, location, followers of x.
How does story viewing help? the users whose stories you see dont get any notification and i am not sure whether people are so bored that they check the viewers of their stories to find your account.

You'd be surprised but many people actually do that

Understand if your account is currently public and you private for s4s, after you go back to public it will not rank on hashtags well for few days up to few weeks

as Insta goes and puts you back on the hashtag feed.

Do you know how to do hastag research

To be honest I am guilty of this myself, but it's the same reason why people check who liked their photos. You check who watched your story. It's insta dopamine that people "care" about what you're up to in your stories. An unfortunate human reality...

Good question really, I would like to hear more sharings here, thank you everyone!!
