Hi!
I was wondering if going private is a good strategy for gaining followers?
+ manually engaging with other posts +collaborations +shoutouts.
The page is similar to the robot Lil Miquela. The page has 17,000 followers.
I have recently faced a huge decline in engagement over the past 6 months or so because I completely destroyed my account with botting and buying likes. Went from about 1200 real likes to 5000 fake likes to now about 500 real likes. (I have recently build the likes back up to about 800).
I am posting brand new style of content and my recent image gained 12,000 impressions. Which 10,000 were from hashtags. However, I didnt gain more likes compared to a picture that only gained 4000 impressions (which were from home). Plus the post only generated 3 followers.
I don't know if once I start posting more of these new content posts that I have that I may begin to see more attention.
But I'm not sure...
I have questions about going private such as : how do you see how many people saved your content etc, how do people share your post to their stories etc. Also does switching from private to public harm your account. I have done it quite often.
I also depend alot on businesses following me to email me about potential work and even interviews about the page.. how will they find me if I cant use hashtags when on private.
