Instagram flagged my home IP?

Hi, I am an artist and trying to grow my account with IG. I have used Followadder (no proxy) in the past but IG has blocked my account for over a month (I mean I had just 1200 followers.. really..?). Anyway now is back to normal but:
I believe the trust rate of my account aint looking good so I probably gotta be careful.
I remember that, before the final big block, I had tried to create other accounts from home but IG wouldn’t let me and on Followadder, I couldn’t follow like more than 3 people.
My question is: now that I am back to normal, I would like to give it another shot with Jarvee (better human behavior simulation) BUT I wonder if my home IP is flagged already. Everybody here says that for just ONE account you dont need vps and proxy but, considered my story, maybe I should think about having vps and a proxy? 4G proxies are sooo expensive :-((

Well, to begin with you used that accounts for months with unknown numbers and actions, from what I can see it sounds like you just tried what they used to teach as average that is basically a bot behavior in the end.
Not just that but probably tried multiple actionts that for IG looked as spam and ended not just blocked but also made them flag the IP as Spam.

My 2 cents: learn how IP works, doesnt matter if you buy a 4g rotational proxy or even have the biggest pool if you doesnt know how it works, any bot does emulation that currently is the main reason why it being tracked down, so even with JV you cant expect to fly down the radar.

Facts: Flagged account with probably a low trust score, spammed residential IP...
Search over the forum and you may find some light.

If you want to keep using your home IP you can do the following:

Disconnect your modem for a certain amount of time. Some ISP's will change your IP if you are disconnected for a certain amount of time. Others have a lease on the IP and you have to wait till it expires could be days or weeks. Wait 5 min if nothing then leave the modem unplugged for longer.

Just about all home IPs are dynamic. They all expire eventually, ISPs charge a premium for a static IP's which is never really static just a DHCP reservation, rather than a lease.

The same principle you use for LAN (Local Area Network where you can adress specific ports for specific devices [port forwarding] that is basically by the Device ID/ Mac Adress is basically the same the carrier use)
Each Router (You connect the router to the internet modem) have a MAC Adress, unless you "change it" you will always be seem as the same device by the provider, since you never changed the device itself.

flagged your account, not just IP, This is a very complicated algorithm, IP is just one an important factor.

OPTION A: I have disconnected the router for a couple of hrs and, yes, I have a new IP now. I was thinking about buying a cheap laptop so that the device will look different. (I can't use Jarvee from my Mac anyway...). (you guys know the minimum PC requirements to run 1 account only on Jarvee?) I think I will give it a try and see how it goes.
OPTION B: If I still get blocked because my IG account is flagged AF, I guess I'll just create a new account from scratch. :-/
Any tips on how to be sure the new one is NO WAY linked to the old one? (when creating it and also in the future..? like also when I log in from my mobile app..)

This is incorrect. MAC addresses of intermediary devices are not seen by the far-end (IG, in this case). MAC addresses are only used for local routing.

In other words, you do not need to worry about changing devices/MAC addresses for these devices ever.

I never said IG can see or not see your MAC address, if you read properly what I said you will realize I just showed how to get a new "IP" with that simple trick btw.

You have to try 2 things.

1. Rest your account, change ip then try again.
If the result are same, there must be a problem with your device
2. Change device & ip then try again.
If the results are same, there must be a problem with your account
