Hello everyone,
I’m having a serious issue with my Instagram account verification and I’m stuck in an infinite loop.
My account is a business/brand page with more than 400,000 followers, active since 2017. Instagram asked me to complete a video selfie / Face ID verification to confirm I’m a real person.
I complete the verification successfully every time, but after waiting for the review, Instagram sends me back to the exact same verification screen again and asks me to redo the Face ID. This keeps repeating endlessly.

The verification loop on accounts with 400,000 followers is often due to device conflicts and the IP address being flagged by Meta. To fix this, uninstall the app, switch to a new phone using a independent 4G/5G network to rescan Face ID and remove any traces of risk. If the problem persists, use a different account with Meta Verified to open the Live Chat portal and request manual intervention from a technical support staff member. Absolutely do not attempt to rescan multiple times on the old device to avoid permanent account suspension due to spam.

Instagram has been unfairly closing accounts lately. Why is that?

Globally, many fake accounts, to the point of blocking real account
Even their ai couldn't solve it
They're closing down real accounts too. I think it's a trap. They might be luring people into meta-verification to make money.

The client had the same problem. Contacting technical support helped.
Don’t risk your account, don’t do anything yourself, contact them and they’ll help you, otherwise you’ll lose your account

You are going to have to contact meta support from another account and show them the screenshots you are posting. It might be that their spam filter flagged your profile on accident. You are going to have to reach out to there support team from a different account.

i heard that you can unblock your account if you pay for that and prices are different depending how many followers do you have

Have you spoken with IG's support? What did they say about the subject?

you should try one time today, meta let us verify with the phone today

You may need to contact Meta Support from another accessible account and provide screenshots or details of the issue.

The infinite loop almost always means the back-end reviewer flagged something but the front-end isn't surfacing the reason — common triggers on a real 7-year-old account: recent login from new device/region without explicit "device add" confirmation, or the face on file (from any prior selfie verification) doesn't match the new video well enough. Stop submitting more selfies from the same setup — each rejected attempt feeds a hash that makes the next one more likely to fail too. Submit a Meta Business help ticket via business.facebook.com/help (not the IG in-app flow) and reference the BM tied to the account — that goes to actual humans, not the automated loop.

If your current account is unable to access support, use another active account to submit a request to Meta's support team, attaching a screenshot of the error and a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing.

You may need to contact Meta support and provide clear screenshots or details about the issue. It’s possible the system flagged the profile by mistake

Did you ever manage to resolve this? It's something we're starting to build in for our clients (IP protection, etc). I'm not trying to sell you anything I'm looking for information to drive our own decisions.

I've been managing dozens of accounts for years, and these last few weeks have been quite bleak. Some accounts experience exactly this: after weeks of the cycle of suspending and reactivating, they remain suspended. Others are permanently blocked, and some, even with verified support from Meta and speaking directly with an agent, cannot be restored. It's complicated.
I've seen people stuck in these loops for weeks. Then one day it randomly gets approved
