Instagram Algorythm for going Viral?

Ok so this has been my question for very long. What specifically do you need to make a video go viral on Instagram?

I know Instagram's algorithm dictates what lands in the explore page but I've seen many people figure out how to TRIGGER the algorithm and I want to figure this out too (I'm sure tons of you do too)

Specifically, I'm want to know how much engagement do you need in these areas: Comments / Likes / Power Likes / Power Comments and how soon after you post. Obviously the more you get the better your chances... but I'm really trying to get a ball park number here

PS: Feel free to prove me wrong, I'm here to learn!

Power likes? Power comments? What in the world haha.
From my experience the likes need to be 20% of reach in the first hour and maintain this in the second hour.

Edit: the first 60 minutes are the most important. Instragram is testing your post and if the engagement is high, rolls it out to more users

You really wish there was a ball park number.

There's no particular x number which will do wonders with all pictures in all niches. The numbers vary depending on the kind of niche you're into and how big of an account you own. After which several other factors like you mentioned the number of followers, likes on the pictures, comments on them, the frequency they were delivered at and the average engagement ratio on all the pictures.

If you're doing things right, after considering all the above factors and probably some more, you would be able to make it to the Explore page very easily!

Yeah, sorry to say but there's no exact number since there are so many variables involved in this, try to get as many factors that you control your way and your chances increase a lot. other than that, even if someone found a way that works most of the time I doubt they will just come out and say it for everyone to copy you'll need to test a lot especially since this will be specific to your niche.

You're probably right. I've been experimenting like crazy and I think I'm getting closer. I've gotten some videos up on the explore but mostly by accident. I guess I want to approach every post with a number in mind... Like if I have 500 likes with 5 comments within 10 mins... you get me? Something like that

You're probably right, wouldn't want to give away my own secrets too. Thanks for the motivation to keep experimenting tho. Appreciate it.
