Hello guys

I saw several YouTube channels during the last weeks that simply post cooking videos and are getting extremely high views. Here is an example:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCI6VJ-4Oh2vEM_DGTaS5ESg/videos?view=0&sort=da&flow=grid
The first video was uploaded 8 months ago. They only uploaded around 60 videos until today and are already making over 10 million views a month. The quality of the videos is not very high so the content itself can't be the reason for this huge success. What do you guys think?

I’m sure this is shared all over social media especially Facebook and IG. They also make very good use of subtitles and everything, which mean that the description as well as the description is translated into a lot of different languages.

Content doesn't have to be HIGH quality for people to like it and want to watch it. Your videos can be of the highest quality and people just not interested in it. That's the misconceptions people have. HIGH QUALITY always equals HIGH VIEW......which is a big NOPE!!

What interests people and catches their eyes and attention is what matters. Most animal videos are not HIGH quality but yet people will still watch them..........

Absolutely. What I meant is that the content doesn't stand out in any shape or form. The recipes are not more interesting than on other channels, the thumbnails are not better, the way how the recipes are explained aren't better and so on. At least from my point of view.

Only thing that seems to be more or less special is the good use of subtitles as pointed out before by @Priince1337 .
