backlinks are not showing up as fast either, serp positions are not changing as much as they were even 2 weeks ago.

Is the bad neighboor affect indexing? Now my three domains with PR haven't indexed! They were averaged 4 months old domains. I'm clueless. Anyone has a solution? I have bookmarked, pinged but none works.

I got a static brand new site indexed within 24 hours - not a blog. It's currently in the google dance, fluctuating between pages 2-3, been about a month now of seo work on it, and has about 18 million competition - I'm using EVO to do it.

At the bottom of your site, in the footer, add some deep links. If you have sub-categories add them with anchor text and description. This way when the spider comes in from people linking to you it then travels into your sub-categories. That's how I have all my sites set up. I go in and manually set my footers.
I've never had problems indexing my sites within a day. Half the time I can get it done within a few hours. Recently I put up a wordpress blog which I use exclusively, and wasn't able to index as usual. It took about a week to get it indexed and then it landed at #15 on google.
I really have no clue why this particular one took this long. It was one of 3 XFactor type sites I did all within one week, where the others were indexed overnight and ranking on page 1 google.
You can monday night quarter back google forever, sometimes it's just "one of those things" that remains a mystery =p

... one is not indexing as fast as before, and the other is showing now in page 2 or 3!

I have a steady but true system that I use, It relieves my fear, since all my sites use adsense.
first off, after the site is loaded, I go to webmaster central and get myself validated.
then off to google analytic, after that I go to adsense.
now I'm all looking real nice to google.
next off I buy 5.00 worth of banner ad's in the related niche, and have it start running in 24 hours.
after that I just do the normal stuff ( pinging, backlinks.... )

Yes my site is a month old got it to #10 then was blasted to the third page. now been sitting at #17 for 2 weeks? any suggestions? need toget to the top 5 fast!
and I thought this happens to me only!
I'm making sites via WP , when done I ping them with pingler and do social bookmarking with senuke - before that with this way site was indexed within max 1day!
now it takes DAAAYS to get indexed, and If i get indexed then the first index dissapears and then only after some another days it comes back and only then I see some rankings-

I hope the Google algorithm -or whatever it is- gets back to normal soon.. this slooow indexing process is driving me nuts!

Lately the index sharply fluctuates, I've seen the site: operator came different results every other time. Does anyone else spot this too? I've seen no changes on webmaster tools
