Indexing Suddenly Got Hard

Quick Update.
One of my sites has now been indexed. This site was launched on Monday and Ive just seen it indexed now.
At first I thought that perhaps Google had started ignoring the methods I had normally been using for getting a site indexed however I think it's more a case of Google taking it's time.
Unless you have any special tricks up your sleeve. Do what you were doing before and just wait and be patient.

yea same here, I made a blog yesterday, I posted 5 articles, submitted the feed to rss sites, pinged both rss and URL , submitted the URL to different social networking sites ,submitted to whois and stat sites.
and still hasn't been able to get index,it's not listing on Google when I search : ****myblog****.**blognetwork**.com
it was supposed to get index fast , I guess I just have to wait !

what blog software did you use? wordpress or did you create the blog from scratch?

different bloging platform ,neither wordpress or blogger !
but that's not the point ,it should've worked !
Guys, remember google sitemaps, webmaster tools and all that. Another trick to get indexed quickly is to stick adsense on your site - google needs to crawl it to establish the content after all..
IMHO google is a law unto itsself and whatever you do you will be at their mercy. Just remember the typical SEO tips of good keywords, active niches and most importantly good content.

When it comes to Google, there is no "Google should've indexed my site". Some get indexed fast, some slower, some never at all.
It's your job as a marketer to test and track your method to find out what's working, and then ramp it up from there.

I had tried everything for a week. However after joining related forum on my niche and post on active thread about my keyword. My site got indexed. I just stick to that for the rest of my site because it's work for me. To ensure your links did not get remove, you should blend it with image or other useful links. It might be too simple but it's work. So who cares. lol
Ok so all of my sites have now been indexed. I can see from the cache date and also from the stats when Google did crawl them however it's only now adding the sites to its directory. This is about 4-5 days on average, compared to a couple of hours which was the norm just a few weeks ago.
Sites do generally seem to be taking longer than they used to do.
I've made a MFA website, but even though I bookmarked it through Digg and put a few back links + pings, I'm not even convinced Google has visited my site yet. It's been about 4 days so time yet I guess.
Maybe submitting the sitemap through Webmaster Tools will help, as not yet done that.

Matt Cutts put on his blog that the caffeine system wasn't going to rollout until after Xmas and even then only at one data centre. It could be due to google cutting resources to the current system to free up some testing power preparing for the caffeine algorithm though. Whatever checks they do once they've crawled a site currently could have to be done again across the whole world wide web prior to caffeine going live.
