Indexing Suddenly Got Hard

I am not having any issues, but are these database sites ? that are having a problem getting indexed ?

It's only a problem with static sites right now. So, in addition to your seo and backlinking for your static sites, build a WP blog with some content and links back to your money site and promote it like hell to get it ranked as highly as possible. At least this way you get some visitors to your money site from blog visitors who click on the links to your money site.

I uploaded a static website last weekend and although the individual webpages aren't very high, I'm seeing more of them being indexed.

It started at 2 (both subpages, didn't even index my homepage first); then it became 4 (including my homepage) and now it's currently 6. One is on the first page and the others 100+, but not yet completed the onpage SEO so that will be one reason.

However another I bookmarked, pinged and did a few backlinks on the other day hasn't been indexed by Google or even Yahoo yet.
So I'm thinking it's very random with regards to how long websites take to get indexed.

That's the issue with Google if some where something change you wouldn't know it unless Google makes announcement.

I am having similar issues with my wordpress sites. Normally my posts gets indexed pretty much in minutes and then they appear in SERP on 3rd day.But last month i started 2 wordpress sites they worked fine for a week and then i had noticed something strange posts doesn't get indexed Google SEPR is updating my new posts after 2 weeks ... crap . I am not sure but something is wrong .

does any one experincing issues with new wordpress sites ?

Never had a problem of that sort dunno,,, if I'm filthy Lucky!

I'm seeing this with the latest batch of sites I have launched.

I am kind of worried that I over did the keyword density (4-5%), I also outsourced the content and the grammar left a bit to be desired.

Do you think this will effect the sites getting indexed?

Do you mean not index or not show on Page of G (1-10 pages).

Check it first, site:yoursite.com or info:yoursite.com

If not index yet, hmm...in my experience when submit my sites to G, it's just need 5 minutes to index.

This is what i do, very simple...

1. Submit your site to google webmaster tool. Place the meta verify on your site...and don't forget to add meta tag on your site, "index, follow".
2. Submit your Site on feedburner, Remember your siteMap Link
3. Submit your web to site directories, such as topOfBlog, BlogCatalog, TopOfblog, Digg, BlogTopList, BlogTopArea, MyBlogLog, etc.
4. Submit your website to 10 free classified ads
5. submit your web to G, yahoo, Bing, alavista
6. After do that, wait for 5 minutes and see your site on G.

site:yoursite.com

7. After 3 day, back to google webmaster tools and submit your sitemap.
8. Last one, "Always Submit Your Post link on digg , after you publish that post on your site.

It's easy...

Any recommendations on where to submit free classified ads? Is that just for product related topics or any? Thanks for the great post yasirli!

its more than 1 week but one of my new wp site isn't lindexed too..i dont know wht i am missing.I hav submitted to lot of directories still no results.

4. Submit your website to 10 free classified ads

I haven't exploited this one yet, does anyone have a list of these?

I have posted links on craigslist for indexing purposes...not sure if they work, yet.

I have a way to get new sites indexed:

Wait.

It may take 1 or 2 months, but it shouldnt matter. All these steps suggested here to get indexed are far too much work for something that should be happening naturally. If you're not getting indexed right away, move onto the next site and wait.

Build backlinks too - with a mind to rank later. These should lead to faster indexing.

I was wondering the same. My keyword density is 6-7%. I was wondering the same thing and If I should reduce it or leave it?

Same problem here...used to take around a day to get indexed, but know it seems like it take 1-2 weeks in my case.

Same thing here.. now Google is taking like 1 week to index my daily posts!

If i post today, then I will see it indexed in 7 days or so...

I also get a problem too. Google has updated the cache daily but haven't indexed any of the post yet for 2 months. What's going on? Tried to find deep linking backlinks but they are not helping.

Don't know if it's been mentioned before but if you ping every backlink it shouldn't take longer than 48h to get indexed. I've just added 3 sites last weekend and they're all in the game now so I believe you just have to be a little more patient.

For indexing, gooblebot needs to crawl your site several times.

Couple of the reasons why googlebot visits your site often to crawl it:
-More and more content/pages with a good inner link architecture on every ping.
-More backlinks for the new content/pages.

If you want to make the indexing easier create a website with at least 5-6 relevant pages and make sure they are linking good between each other.
Then build deep backlinks.

Take a look for example Wikipedia.

Hope this helps

give it a nice xrumer blast.. you will get indexed within 24 hours guaranteed.

even my site is not getting indexed. Its been over 2 days now, I usually got indexed within 12 hours using digg. Any way around it, PM me.
