Indexing issue

In GSC you can click on the category (in this case crawled - currently not indexed) to view all urls affected. Click on url and hit inspect. It will get checked shortly and if everything is good you can request indexing again. If you had no errors on this entire way, there should be no technical problems. It could be the case that google has a lot of indexing to do and they are on the "waitlist", or other factors like that. It could also be authority or quality concerns from google, but I don't think so.

How many pages does the website have?
How old it is?
Does it hold any authority?
Are your pages/website ranking for the indexed pages? anywhere in the top 100?
Did you make sure these are the main websites pages? not a variation with some php parameters or so,

There are several reason that can cause the problem,
Can't say much without knowing the details, usually it's because of lack of authority & trust or/and possible algo penalty

You can try paid indexing tools
Not really a good idea, the website could be already under the radar,
These tools use different kind of spam to get your links indexed and it can make things worse

Articles are not getting indexed on my website, How do I solve this problem?
use good indexers but if it does not index then donot worry leave it it would index naturally

28 indexed, 172 currently not indexed

Very new

No

So is that normal for a new website?
If they're not being indexed after 2-3 weeks after getting crawled, it's not a really good sign,
If the website is not ranking for the brand name, it's another red flag,

New websites get easily penalized nowadays, especially if you're posting too many pages,
The best you can do is to make sure there's no technical problems and give it some more time (up to a month),

If it's no pages are getting indexed in that timeframe, more pages are falling out of the index and it's not ranking for any long tails,
It would be better to move on, you can surely recover it, but for a brand new domain/website and nothing invested, better to start with something else

ranking for the brand name though. so I guess it is too many pages, which is causing the problem. Thinking of reducing the post count now.

one more thing I found out that I submitted a page manually in URL inspection and it got indexed quickly.
should I submit the sitemap too?

sure thing, if it's not already done, but the pages are already crawled, probably not going to help as much,
reducing the post count is not really ideal neither, google will recrawl the pages and this will result in too many 404 errors,

slow down with the frequency of posting, invest in building some links,
i tend to use some niche-relevant quality forum links for a start,
any decent type of links would be good, just avoid spammy links,

make sure you're adidng some contextual internal links here and there,
this will help to pass the link juice, and give it some more time

I can see the page is not indexed yet. Try submitting the sitemaps, it may help in indexing,

User behaviour means a lot for indexing websites.

It is my understanding that Google leverages Chrome data and information they derived from their services to place weight on indexing
for certain niches and ranking positions. I would concentrate on manipulating those trust signals with user behaviour to see if you can
help index your website.

Probably content that is not worth indexing. Add valuable content.

To resolve indexing issues, ensure your articles are optimized with proper meta tags, submit the sitemap to Google Search Console, and check for any crawl errors or manual penalties that may be preventing indexing.
