Good backlinks and original content are good things but what increases visits is better rankings for your targeted KWs.
Even though a backlink may be considered good, it may not be good for your site and even though your content may be original, it may not be optimized for Google.
You need to take both those thoughts into account when you are talking backlinks and content.

A good content can increase visitors, but the content should be unique. Also you must provide a path to increase visitors like sharing your link in social media platforms.

Also not 100%. There are plenty of high da/pa sites that have been penalized.
