Impressive SEO reports?

I want to create SEO reports for local businesses.

What tools do you use to create your reports? IBP? SEO Power Suite? MS exports?

Basically, I want to know what data really impresses people and gets their attention.

Charts? Graphs? Spreadsheets? Competition analysis?

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Anything impresses anyone who knows othing about seo.

As for the people who do know a bit about seo these reports are often wasted, they are just a means of an upsell the content of them is not really anything special .

I use IBP , but it doesnt look very good...If i want to integrate sample reports , Need to build a sample report.

The key here is really to make it look really good (and professional), so use as many charts and visuals as possible. They won't have any idea what you're talking about when it comes to the actual SEO, so with that they'll be impressed pretty much any way you put it, as long as you talk with confidence and can answer any questions they might ask.

In my experience, SEO concepts can be very hard to articuate when you're actually talking to people in the real world, and not on forums where you assume everyone has a grasp of the basics. So, think of ways to explain some key ideas like "link popularity" in plain english before you go in.

I use to use IBP when I first started out however I now use a combination of Web CEO Professional and SEO PowerSuite Enterprise. The reports generated from these 2 tools are off the charts data wise and nothing can come close to comparing with them IMO. Your clients won't know whether to shit or wind their watches when they see what kind of data/reports you have for them about their site/sites.

If you are looking to get into the web consulting business the best 2 SEO tools IMO are Web CEO Professional and SEO PowerSuite Enterprise without a doubt man!

Am not using any Softwares,just with the Excel am making the SEO report and the customers liked that very much

According to me no matter on Software..The Report must be clean and detailed most importantly it must be easy to verify

I usually use IBP, In my opinion it gives some clear picture of the site with the proper on-site-optimization report. . So i always prefer IBP. .
