dang, I never "optimized" my images by spoon-feeding the retarded googlebot like that!
I think you can get away with simply rename the images after your keyword and adding the keyword as ALT tag. At least that's how I did it 3 years ago when I last cared about SEO, if things have changed in the meantime I don't know but I still think it's overkill

I mean, name your images after your keyword. For example, if your keyword is "car insurance" your image file would be called carinsurance.jpg (or png or whatever format you use). And also use "car insurance" in the ALT tag of the image....

Usually I just fill Alt Tags with related keywords and leave the rest blank

Just upload the images using your keyword name. So the title would be your keyword. And again, add keyword in the alt text. That's it.

the alt text is way to long. the alt text and the description should match the part of the the text and keywords that u want to rank for. overdoing never worker for me. the title of the image should also match somehoe the title of the image...
i made the experience that if the name of the image, the title and the description matches u are able to rank in the top positions in google with ur image.
