Im Taking My TALENTS to...OFFLINE!

A friend of mine owns 3 gifts/electronic stores and is willing to work with me on some online stuff. This will be my first time doing something offline so i wanted some feedback on the idea. Its pretty simple.

First thing i wanted to try was to

Hand out flyers for a cpa offer at his store.

A customer comes in, gets a flyer that leads to my site. Then i capture some info own my landing page and send them to the cpa offer.

What do you think about that idea? sounds good or am i not using my resources well enough?

It's all about targeting. If the people going into the stores are the right audience and the flyers are in a prominent position, it will work. If they're not targeted you might fluke a few but it probably won't work on the whole

If they go and buy an ipad, upsell ipad ebooks/apps.
If they go buy a camera, upsell lenses and guides
If they go and buy an xbox, upsell games/tvs.

I wouldn't waste the opportunity. You get into 3 B&M stores and you want to do CPA? Chump change. Affiliate marketing. Sell more products.

Yeah, create a two or three page flyer explaining a targeted product that the average customer in the store would be interested in, and have a url on the flyer to a squeeze page you've created. As long as it's targeted you will make a lot more money that way.

thanks for the insight guys, targeting shouldn't be too hard. I am visiting the store tomorrow and will see what being sold and understand the customer base.

Zapdos thanks alot i really didnt think about all I can do with this opportunity. I dont know how i overlooked AM. i was thinking whats the fastest way to test this market. But AM sounds WAYYYYY better $$$
these stores are in a huge city so now im even more excited.

Ill give an update on what happens next
