that ties in with weak muscle theory my first physio mentioned
ie - doing less activities to avoid pain weakened the side effected
most because now any activity hurts 3x more
but i no i can sit back on this anymore - gotta start and do somethig
the thought of a wheel chair scares the shit outa me
I would just build up your lower back muscles gradually. I can easily believe what the_demon said above.. Building strong lower back muscles can do wonders.
I'd go for a combination of weights, yoga and the most important part: belief. If you believe your condition is degenerative then it will be. Why do you believe it anyway? Because some doctors told you so? What do they know? The fact that it took them so long to diagnose it should give you some insight into modern medicine. It's mostly just bullshit/guesswork.
It's really up to you what you choose to believe and you'll find your world will change to fit your beliefs in weird and magical ways. The universe is a lot more magical than most people think and science has barely begun to scratch the surface of what reality/we really are.
