Can you guys help me choose a domain to start earning just a few bucks so I can pay my bills
I'm a newbie but I can learn

You won't earn anything with a blank domain, I suggest you don't spend on IM until you at least have some sort of plan.

Domain itself will not help you to earn. You need the project or business idea.
Many years ago domain name apple.com for example might not be associated with cutting edge phones and tabs.
So the project made domain popular, not vice versa.

Whatever you pick, will be great. Just stick with it. What is your niche? I suggest to see what will you do with it first, have an audience/traffic/links and then create a domain.

As a newbie, try to learn more about domaining from forums and start investing your hard-earned money on a few names in the niche you have some knowledge or networks. Always stick with .com unless you are confident about other TLDs.
