this is not being said to flex, for sympathy nothing.

yes i’ve made $250k in my online career but i’m broke right now. so deffo nothing to flex loool.

To sum up my story. Made my first 100k with IG meme pages from the ages of 15-17. (some crypto too)

i lost all that money in crypto and my meme page was deleted.

right after (literally with no break) started & scaled a marketing to 6 figures a year in 12 months. Thought i was Dan Bilzerian or something and spent a lot of my money on holidays, clubs etc not focusing on my business.

so when 2023 came around i felt defeated and spent a lot of that year procrastinating. around october time took my agency serious again & although i’m not doing crazy numbers right now.

I have 15k worth of clients in pipeline & aiming for 50k MRR by end of March.

I’m writing this to say, sometimes i feel like my past success if a fluke, parents telling me to get a job, i’m in debt.

but i believe in myself & God that i can do this.

From my (very brief lol) story what do you guys think?

thanks BHW <3

Well , You still have the knowledge and the skills, so now you know how to make better choices. Everything in life is learnt from past mistakes.

Gimme all that knowledge. I take that. Pocket. It's mine.

Essentially therapy. Tell them you have a big gambling problem. ;)

And they'll know how to take you off that hole.

They know what btc is.

Don't worry.

There are more forex victims.

Lucky.sparks had similar problem.

Me too.

There is no way out without therapy

Bro, you have a lot of experience, those who have risen to a certain income will do it the second time 5 times faster

You went broke twice) and still made comeback. I think your gonna do fine IMHO

But did you die?

Sounds like you know what you are doing and still haven't ate dirt yet so keep going!

We all have ups and downs, but some recover and learn from it and some like to stay down and hate themselves for not doing more when its too late.

I've made the mistake of not picking up the pieces in time for me to land on my feet running and that shit sucks more than having keep the ball rolling.

Your story resonates with me on a level that you can't even guess.

I also started business fairly young, at 14. Made somewhat around $20-30k between the ages of 14-16. I was a literal child who was stupid, inexperienced in life, and loaded with cash.
Surprise, surprise, I lost all that money to some useless dumb stuff because I wanted to show off.

At the time, I was very devastated because of the money lost and quit my business entirely. I wanted to come back to business a few months later but I couldn't come up with any business ideas and felt like a failure.

Now that I look back on that almost 3 years later I can see a silver lining. That experience taught me the most about the perspective of money than anything else.

I learned to manage money,
I learned to find happiness without money,
but most importantly,
it taught me to ignore other people's expectations about me.

When I felt like a failure back then, that feeling came from other people's expectations.
I was always top of my class in school without really even trying. I then started a successful business at the ripe age of 14.
Combine those two and you get extreme peer pressure and super high expectations from other people.

When I then lost all my money and quit my business, I got very depressed because I felt like I didn't reach the unrealistic expectations other people had set for me.

Believe me when I say that my life hasn't been better ever since I learned that 'you should live your life however you like it. Not how other people expect you to live.'

With the new confidence, maturing, and life lessons that experience gave me,
I have now managed to built over 10 income streams including 2 agencies and a book (productivity biohacking) in ~3 years and have a net worth in the mid six-figures. (There was a lot of luck involved, but nonetheless)

What I mean by all this is that you should try to find peace within yourself.
Ignore other people's expectations, come to peace with yourself, and don't stress about being 'successful'. Try to find a silver lining in losing the $250k.

We're both young guys. We have absolutely no obligations to anyone to be 'successful'. No one should ever blame a 19-year-old child for not being 'successful', we're still children after all.

Things will get better.

I remember you. Weren't you in sales? I think you were selling small business loans if I'm not confusing you for somebody else.

sometimes i feel like my past success if a fluke,
No fluke because you made it back a second time and you're on your way to succeeding a 3rd time.

It's very easy to lose money in crypto so as long as you don't yolo all your cash anymore you'll be just fine.

Good luck!

Just stay away from gambling and you'll get back on track.

You lost $250k or so, but you still have the know-how.
...And that's the thing.

You're young and motivated. The only obstacle in your way can only be you.

Good luck with your journey!

Per aspera ad astra.
I appreciate that, i think because i basically had a full year of “no success” i feel like my time has come or something lol.

100% i agree, thank you.

Thing is, i’m not even addicted to “gambling” or crypto etc, just was hopeful haha.

You’re right, thank you.

That’s how i try and see it until i see my age mates that are killing it.

But did you die?

I really appreciate you explaining your story, had some similarities as you mentioned. My thing is though i have so much pressures (debts, bills etc) where i feel like i have to make it now.

Something i need to work on ig.

Money in abundance. Just picked $9 off the floor. So if $9 on the floor, then what once you try...
Facts.

I remember you. Weren't you in sales? I think you were selling small business loans if I'm not confusing you for somebody else.

How did nobody figure out this is a humblebrag yet?
Haha, didn’t want it to look like that genuinely, i just get in my mind a lot & a lot of self debt occurs.

Like bro right now i’m dead broke no money in banks and i owe my team & other debts, definitely nothing to brag about.

I just come here to BHW to see an outside view sometimes.

Appreciate u

Exactly, I think I have even seen this post before. Possible try to get newbies to emphazise and get them to DM this user, but this is maybe too much guessing. I would not contact hat individual, since those stories seem always odd. First claiming ot have made a huge amount of money relative to your age as a flex, then saying they will make 50k in no time, just seems odd. Why even mention then you feel down, if you can just make hat much money in no time? Something does not ad up, IMO.

Having fun when you're young is important , in ten years you wont want to go out and the hangovers and jetlag start to get so terrible you just stop going out and doing random trips as much so enjoy it while you can. Sitting and making money is never going away as long you can learn new things and adapt with the times.

I will say being a bit older and very good at math that 99% of people should not play with with day trading or short term investing in stocks , forex and the new scams in crypto as they can make more playing poker or betting college sports where people blindly bet on the schools and go all in the top end pocket pairs no matter what which is easier for folks to learn on average compared to fighting super computers and teams of 1800 IQ math, finance and dev nerds the world over.

I spent so much money from 16-28 that it seems like a dream now. I could have invested this or done that and blah, blah ,blah but the memories, fun, random women and life lessons that live in my brain forever are worth more than money and that's what matters in the end , living a happy and stress free life the way you want to live it.

Good luck bud

Can 100% see how that looks haha.

but just to confirm i didn’t do this post to groom newbies into my messages LOL. if anything i wanted to hear from more seasoned players to see if their journey was anything like this. (high highs & low lows).

the 50k mrr is a goal that i’ve predicted but isn’t anything confirmed.

Appreciate the feedback though genuinely thank you.

Well, just keep pushing, do not stop. A lot of us have been in your situation and concluded that the main thing is to never stop striving for more, the day you stop is the day you need to get a regular job.

Glad you picked yourself back up again, all of it should be viewed as success and learning experience - as long as you don't repeat your previous mistakes you should be able to exceed your previous achievements by far.
