Hey i'd like to share something i've been testing out for a little while now across a few different niches on instagram. First of all im using automation software (gmt2) and building instagram accounts via follow/unfollow and liking. Im not going to be talking about how im monetizing the accounts in this post im simply going to be talking about a small trick that i use to improve my follow back ratio drastically.
No matter what niche you are in you are going to have public figures within said niche, and you are going to want to find a way that you can connect with them on a personal level, or find something that could be of use to them, you want to dm them, tag them in comments, posts ect and try to get their attention. you are going to have to try different people as alot will not pay any attention to you. Accounts with less followers will respond more often. now once you have struck a conversation with one of them you are going to want to offer them something or just be genuinely nice and tell them you like their work. Then just politely ask them for a follow so that you can show your friend, sibling, parent whatever. some will not but after trying a few people you will eventually get a follow, hopefully from a fairly big public figure within your niche.
Once you get them to follow you (or multiple for extra credibility) you are going to set up your instagram automation software to follow and like accounts that are following whichever "public figure" is following your account, that way when they get the notification from your follow and check your account they will see followed by.... "insert" and they will be much more likely to follow you back and seemingly more engaged by your posts.
My follow back rate has doubled for the accounts that i follow within my niche. Where i normally average around 13-15% follow back i am seeing upwards of 25-30% follow back rate. I'm sure some of you are already doing this on your own please let me know.
