IG + Dropshipping - share your experience

I run 9 niche same ig pages. Follow/unfollow/post etc. Pages are hq and no signs of promotions. No link in bio etc. My only promo is via dm. I am dming new followers on these theme pages with promo code 10% off. I am getting around 13-20 daily visits on site but no purchases . When I will sell my first product I will scale up to 100 theme pages with the same strategy.

are the dms automated to when a person starts following?

I've gotten one when it was linked directly to a product page but now that it's just pointing to my home page no
How long has it been this way? I mean, did you have a full month getting 6 clicks a day (180 clicks) and 0 sales?
What niche are you in if it's not a secret?

This is week number 5 without a sale from the bio link. But I suspect it's because I removed the CTA and the link to a product page, and it's now just pointed at my home page.

I see. Did you not think to try collecting emails first and then send them offers? Maybe give some freebie for an exchange of their email and then offer some % discount to your store?

i run a few instagram shops and thats similar how i started off, you should first get 10k followers for the swipe up feature on ig and make lots of stories.

I ran a story telling my followers to dm me a niche related photo of themselves to be featured on my story and got hundreds of them. So what I'll be trying next is setting up a form on my website for these types of submissions and collect emails that way.

I am thinking to do exactly this too. I've seen a lot of examples on IG. Apparently it works great.
Another option is to invite to pass the quizz in your niche and send the answer to their email. And see what converts better.

Are you also using hashtags to reach customers ..

I started in 2017 selling clothing with an investment of 12$ for the domain name + I have some html and Java script knowledge and created a store on Tumblr and choosed paypal as payment method.

First day = over 5 sales.

With time my sales growed and PayPal asked for business account, then upgraded my business and worked on a better website with more features.

That was my ex wife idea btw to pay credit. We still work on it till today and share the revenue, we look to sell the business sometimes.
Regards.

Great story man, congrats!

Thanks buddy truly appreciate, sometimes we can't handle everything without the help of special people.

Reminder: all my sales came from Instagram and Google. No Paid Ads.
Do you dropship? Or where do you source products to sell?

Dropship was the first thing I did, most of products I sold are licensed and from verified companies, later I made few contacts on the printing businesses to double the revenue and it worked..

Regards,

Features and staying engaged in the STORIES has gotten me a good outreach these last few days. Also, being nice and friendly with thank you for follows or features and reciprocate that helps alot.
I run a niche IG and have been building organically to reach 10K and maybe consider launching my store. The stories are great for engaging bc it makes the profile more of an experience to the user. Best thing is to not get ahead of yourself to make a few quick bucks. Organic growth is best in no matter what way

Do you do follow/unfollow or something else? Also traffic from one account or multiple Instagram accounts?

No I never did follow and unfollow not my thing. I started with Hashtags and quotes of music sayings.

Well I have multiple accounts but for dropship ping I only used 2.

Regards
