Member Bigbuddy's Ifttt seo service?

Can someone explain me the concept of that IFTTT please?

I know that it ain't the holy grail of seo, and it's not "the guy" who does the heavy lifting, however, having an automated tool to generate links for diversity/anchor dilution/foundation, seems like a good idea to me.

It isn't so much about the links, as it is more about syndication and your audience. I mean, many of the links generated from IFTTT are noFollow, some are even noIndex, but those properties have good audiences, so you might find readers there.
As to doing multiple rings, I do that to help index my primary syndication sites and to give them a little bump.
IFTTT, like SNAP, is about bringing your work to a broader audience, not just about SEO or backlinks. I mean, what boost we can get helps, but it is minimal.

As to services offering IFTTT rings for $100+ dollars, all I can say is they better be phone verified twitters, expired tumblrs, with backlinks to the d0-follow properties.
 
Does anyone have case studies on how well these types of networks seem to rank?

I am still having trouble understanding how it works, even though I've reada few articles and tried to understand the services that are available on BHW. So, if I made a post on my money site, then it gets automatically posted to your social properties? What is the mechanism that makes it go automatically from FB > Twitter > Pinterest or whatever?

I recall it being shared to social properties, such as wordpress blogs or blogspot, but I wouldn't know how that works or if I'm just confused here. If this is the case, properties posting all the same content would probably get slapped eventually. If there is a good guide out there somewhere that breaks it down into dumbass steps I would love to see it.
 
@xplosiv Well, you connect your FB, Twitter, and Pinterest to your Ifttt along with WordPress's feed, so when you post one article on your website, a snippet along with URL gets posted on all of these. At least this is how I see things running.

You won't be slapped if you use social media for this as people tend to share articles on a regular basis, and I'm sure you can make something with the other properties(e.g using a spinner to generate unique content along with the target url)
 
You want the content to season on your site for upto 2 weeks before reposting, especially if your site doesnt have a ton of traffic. Wouldnt wamt your webcopy to be accidentally classified as duplicate content.
 
IFTTT is to much automation, better to build high quality tier 1 properties with unique content and then blast those properties with cheap PBN links, to go even further, you can point GSA at those PBN links.

Why does it have to be an either/or situation?
Why not have a content syndication network for potentially increased social networking?
Sure you can build a good tier 1, but that is SEO, where as social networking can bring traffic from additional sources.
 
@patriotnews Aha, so Ifttt is more about leveraging social media power, while also gaining a potentially decent SEO from it, pretty much like the Meathead's method where you get direct traffic and the link power from the actual blog commenting.

I use it to automate my social postings only. I post a post on instagram and ifttt posts it on my twitter, fb, tumblr pages
 
I use ifttt for my blogs, never been an issue with duplicate content as all posts refer back to the original article. Having content posted to Facebook, WordPress, tumblr, pinterest, Flickr etc saves me a ton of time.
 
Is your reasoner deciding on your IFTTT chosen posting path... are you studying links by graphing them and putting them through a hidden tensor layer? This might not be an AI/ML topic me thinks. AI is a pretty specific (though at the same time wide ranging) field. Please make sure the topic is AI before we dilute this forum section with stuff that could be useful to others in the correct thread but but flotsam when posted here.
 
I am not into the linkbuilding part of ifttt. To me it is a point of adding a presence for the website brand on some of the properties that google owns or has tld authority. Also it's GREAT for adding some sort of li k diversity into your profile. So maybe my first statement about not using ifttt syndication for backlinks don't hold water for long. Just be conscious about your strategy.

IFTTT is a killer. The sematic web is up, PBNs are slowly becoming the past.
 
I find IFTT useful in building trust for my PBN sites, increasing social signals and population my social media profiles. However, as @Conor said, you should be able to perform everything manual first.
 
can you point me to this IFTTT method?

edit: this image pretty much explains it. pretty cool method. I was using it but never for tier2.
