But I kinda agree with him to some extent.
CPA ( I meant the ones we call "human verification") is scamming people of their time. It is not as serious as "call center scams" - but it still is what you call "unethical". Many "french pin submit" offers you see on these CPA sites are scammy if you dug deep.

I think the easiest way to separate the two is asking whether you would prefer to be fucked over by a scam call center or a CPA offer.

I can honestly say that I don't partake in rape, murder, call center work or CPA's so I'm feeling pretty karmatically positive atm.

You work at a call center and you are trying to find justification within a group of individuals in which most have had more calls from these types of "companies" than your average 70 year old that clicks on every winning fedex email thinking they won..... Marketers deal with this more because our information is out there more than the average person... Either way, there is no justification in what you (or the companies you work for) do. Actually it's called extortion. My advice is find a new line of work or deal with peoples rightful opinions
