IE vs FireFox what should I use ?

I been using IE for years and I heard about Foxy Proxy and know want to know does Foxy Proxy work good because if does I will swich to FireFox !

Also let me know whats the best plugins for blogger and more !

I hated FF when I first switched back in the day, I did so for plugins. Now I don't know how I ever used IE. It's better in every way after the first couple of days getting used to it.

Although Mozilla is known as the 'hippest' browser, it's not only to fuck Microsoft, but FireFox sticks closest with how to render HTML standards and such, while IE just did there own thing for the longest time. As code developed and IE strayed away from Web Standards, things started getting a little crazy and thus, FireFox project was made.

I actually think the guys who created the original Netscape browser actually developed FireFox.


I'm probably way wrong, but it's something like that.

One more vote for firefox. The add-ons are so much better. Two that I use a lot are shareaholic and download helper.

Firefox is just awesome and if you're in IM thats the best browser for ya.

If you just browse the web better use Safari. its the fastest

Hey Guys, score another for FF. I felt like I was cheating on a girlfriend when I first started using FF because of being with IE for so long. hehe I found a great article about how to speed up FF because it's all open source so it's not hard at all. I like Chrome because it's very fast and low on resources.
Firefox was a great browser at the beginning, Now it really sucks, bigtime.
The only reason I would use firefox now is for the plugins and addons.
They've destroyed a great browser...

must have addons:
- adblock plus
- betterprivacy
- keyscrambler

useful addons:
- greasemonkey
- flagfox
- statusbar date
- webmail notifier
- password exporter
- reloadevery
- snap links plus
- tabgroups manager

If you don't care about plugins Google Chrome is definitely the way to go.

Internet Explorer blows so I would never use it again if I were you. As for the Google Chrome / FireFox debate...its really personal preference at that point. They are both great choices so it doesn't really matter which you choose.

Totally agreed with you, now I don't want any other browser except firefox (maybe opera, it's also good).
Also the same thing happened to me when I was switching from win xp to win 7.
