Idiot On A Computer lol.

Those kind of people always have millions of icons in their system tray from applications they never heard about. Same thing for their favorite browser Internet Explorer which is loaded with weird add-ons and search bars and takes 50% of their browsing screen.

like this ?

Lol, i wouldnt have made it past the part where he was typing google, into google search lmao.

Sadly though, not too many people that have computers actually know how to use them.

I would love to have my own geek squad company.
charge people $125 to run glary system cleaner on their stuff and talk about tons of viruses and what not, collect the cash and leave.

Well, in the end we have to be happy that these people exist, these are the ones that click on ads, fill in cpa submits, believe fake youtube ppd video's, etc
If everyone was computersavvy they would recognize these things from far and we wouldn't be able to bank :p

i was once like this and so is everybody but yeah it made me laugh

sadly i think i only advanced a litle bit from the searching on google:( but far enough to find this site:P.On topic: verry funny video..have few persons like that in my life

When my office replaced the typewriters with electronic word processors they didn't conduct any training and I noticed that even after a year many secretaries were still pressing the "Carriage Return" key at the end of every line.

Or just generally those people that come to you for every single fucking problem they have with a computer.

Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely flattered that I'm the "Go to" guy for electronics - but don't ask me how to download a trial of Malwarebytes. How the hell do you THINK you download it?

Or those people who want you to make them a website for them with a niche that is totally useless. "Watch me jumprope" Like really though, who cares? 8|

a few years ago i read a story about a teacher who didn't know the difference between a search engine and a web browser. and he was running a computer training class!

My parents only type with their index fingers... :D
They take ages to type anything!! They take ages to find each letter on the keyboard... So I loose my patience and type for them, and than press enter. And that's when my dad always says, "Oh nice, now you made me leave the page I was in!" And I try to stay calm and say, "dad, if you want to go back to what you were seeing just use the back button, you know, that arrow pointing to the left, that's on the top left of the screen!!" How come he keeps forgetting this?? :(

My mom, now keeps asking me if she can open this or that email, because she's afraid of viruses, but for years she used hotmail that opened emails automatically... So I convinced her in to changing to gmail, and she took ages to get used to gmail!! And I don't even want to talk about the changes that google recently did on the gmail interface, because that was kind of confusing to her, to say the least...

Worse than that, only trying to make my parents use Ubuntu!! I know that seems like suicide, but we had an old laptop that would run much faster if Ubuntu was the OS, really really bad idea, though...:frusty:

I push my client's Office Manager out of the chair at her own desk every time she asks for help figuring something out on the computer. Over the last 2 years, I have her trained so that as soon as I aim my ass at the chair, she jumps up and goes the other direction, because the ass is coming DOWN.

I only get "The Rage" during those incidents where there really is no problem, she "just wants to show me something", which requires me to stand there and watch her painful two-finger "hunt & peck" technique, then the LONG pause between manually typing in the URL and pressing the "Enter" key. I usually have to prompt her to "...you can just press the enter key. No need to push the green arrow, there." Each time it's brand new information to her. She never admits she's a complete dingbat with the computer while I'm in the middle of a finger-tightening, throat constricting, 11" steak-knife plunging, seething and murderous RAGE, no she saves the "Oh, I don't understand any of that computer stuff." line for me anytime I try to teach her even the most basic things about computing such as there's no need to launch a brand-new browser every time she wants to do another search, they have these things called "tabs", see, and...." "Oh. I don't understand any of that computer stuff." which is secret code for "I have no intention of learning anything, ever."

Maybe she would be more motivated to learn if I let her know that I've decided to allow her to live in order to avoid prison at least 5 times in the last year? Not because of any sense of human compassion, conscience or sense of responsibility. The threat of prison is the only reason why this woman is still alive.

Anyways, great video. Even more impressive was the music score, which should be credited, as I would go find out what it was, who did it, is there more to it, etc.... if I knew where to look.
