Ideas for Portfolio Projects

I am a Django Developer planning to become a Full time Freelance Developer. So I want to build some portfolio projects for getting clients . I am confused with what to build. Throw some ideas for my Portfolio project ;)

Alternative concepts for your portfolio projects are out of the question. So it's best to start with some product-based applications that you're interested in and utilize them as portfolio projects before applying for projects on freelancer portals.

* a gallery type of website, auto-updated from what's trending on instagram
* a blog that will be super fast to load, with all the core web vitals done well
* a website for your freelance business
* some data collecting website or stats on any industry
 
Do something real world that you can partner up with a marketer and make some $.

For example can you create a framework to scrape data?

If so build an app that does that and lets the user access and search a database in return for a fee.

it is very difficult man . Every job has a lot of proposals . Any tips that you can getting jobs from UpWork?

You can use management software or CRM applications to complete any job. There are numerous concepts to choose from.

Because you're a Django developer, I believe you're proficient in Python. You can also develop a series of your own projects with Python.

But these are just simple projects , Does these kind of projects create good impression on clients?
 
Why not! While it is a simple product, the end user adored it. Wordle is a popular game right now. As a result, I believe that these kind of items will be successful.

Also, instead of focusing on a basic project, please concentrate on your zone (python) with creative projects,
