I'd do whatever it takes

Hi all,

I'm a newbie. But I don't put some posts like "How can I make x amount of money?". I wanted to share some thoughts recently. You can imagine it's like we're chatting and drinking tea.

I've spent many years getting my education done. Aka, I didn't have any experience in this real world. I can quote a sentence from Social Media Make You Rich, " I realized my parents are not helpful to give me more applicable advice as they aren't living at the age of information." Yeah, I got a chance to study aboard and finally get rid of their manipulation. But I love them, don't get me wrong. I started my full-time job last year, but it's entry-level and what I earned is lower than the average salary. I have no choice as I need them to help me apply for citizenship. It's sad that I'm still fighting for surviving. So I have to find another job to help me out. Because I want to give back to my parents. I talked to my brothers. Oh my world, he is young but failed a lot of times in education. Recently, he's doing some courses to prepare for BA and certification to be a lawyer. and he took my mon's car to go to courses which made me angry and think he's really childish. So I said to my mom. "Let me buy a car for you." My mom's favourite car is BMW 3 series which costs $40,750. So that'd be my first goal. I'm not sure if I can make it.

In order to keep me accountable, I have to find a space to post. So I'll let you know how it goes.

Any advice would be super appreciated!

Its better to invest your first 40k.

I would suggest u to invest, earn more, invest more and then buy the car, your mom will be happier and you wont be throwing all of your money but its just an advice, do whatever u feel its better.

This ^ I think your mom would be happier if you were to use that $40k to fund your business even further (and end up having much more than $40k). Nevertheless, it's a nice (and generous) goal of yours.
It's quite a huge goal however, having $40k+ in profits leftover after expenses (both for business, but also for living) and surely you'll want money over for yourself and your future considering most online businesses aren't that stable - this is if you're intending to even open a business because you say you're looking for a 2nd job.

Sorry to hit you with reality, but even with 2 jobs it's highly unlikely you'll have $40k saved up in the foreseeable future. The avg EU citizen around 30-40 years old has around €10k-€15k saved up. Life is expensive. If you want to hit those goals, starting a business is the way. I wish you the best of luck!

Yes, I have registered the company already. So when I said two jobs, I meant I'm doing one job at work, and another job is an entrepreneur. I don't know how but I have to make this move. I just can't deal with this poor situation. It gave me a bit of motivation. I have to think harder because there is no one who tells you how to solve problems, run a business unless they're selling courses to get money from your pockets.

I like that your that hungry but you must choose the puzzle wisely and arrange it or your screw your hungryness

$40k for a 3 series?

Best of luck, but maybe a better goal than buying your mum a car would be to set up a business that will feed, house and clothes you.

Then when you have those 3 things sorted, you can think about getting your mum a flash car.

I wish you all the luck, take your hungar for success and succeed. Work on doing one positive step towards your goal each day.

Man for buying a car straight out of your only Im is so stupid, your fantasies yourself.
just saved the money and lived low cost because there will be always rainy dry and you will dried out soon if you go by that thinking.
