Alright, so, i setup my instagram account, made the logo for it, made the bio, made the ebook and i setup the gumroad page for it too fully. Everything like that is done.

About the digital marketing, i have some experience in digital marketing as i ran my family's business account for a fast-food restourant we had, and i had pretty impressive results from one of my three reels. I managed to hit the target audience of the town we had the fast-food restourant it, and the reel reached an audience of 1 million people from that town and the towns around it, for comparasion the city we had the restourant in has a population of 500k people, i did study a bit and i made a good reel, i stopped because we closed the restourant, but the only experience in digital marketing i had was that, and i was pretty succesful. Now, marketing an ebook is probably a diffrent world of what i need to do lol. Does anybody have any tips for me to make good reels that will reach the right audience, and actually reach lots of people, and how many times a day should i make reels on that account if i want a succesful one?

Hey,

Few months ago some people were marketing ebooks threw Youtube comments on red pills video.
The process was as simple as that :
- they post a comment talking about a certain ebook with a fake account, something like "I've just finished reading [name of the ebook] and I totally recommend it"
- they boost the comment to ~1k likes with bots
As the name of the ebooks were niche, no one was ranking on the so when you search for the name of the book they'll be ranked 1-3 so you'll directly land on their website.

I checked the traffic of some of few of these sites and some of them were reaching a lot of people only with this method. I'm not sure this is still working though.

Respectfully, it doesn't sound like you have much experience in Digital Marketing. The audience reach is all well and good for your family's business but unless you have tracking in place to see how well that converts into online orders if you do takeout or in person visits, then its just a vanity metric.

What niche is your eBook in? You might find its better placed to build a website and offer the eBook for free in return for a mailing list, or post a hefty "discount" which would actually be the price you were looking for anyway.

Brainstorm what problems you can solve by your customers purchasing this eBook. Now you could attempt this with social media by creating reels that answer small questions around this. I.e if you were in Law, you could answer FAQ's in videos to attract a following, but create a Link.tree that you could direct your viewers to for the full guide, book etc.

It would be helpful if you could give a bit more information about your niche, where you're trying to go with this, your objectives etc. Feel free to DM me if you need some help

Sounds like you’ve already got a solid foundation with digital marketing! Hitting a million views in a local market is no small feat. For your ebook, the key is adapting that success to a broader audience. Have you looked into niche-focused hooks and storytelling in your reels? Also, testing different posting frequencies (like 1-3 reels a day) can help find what works best. What’s the topic of your ebook?

Honestly, check out what others are doing and get ideas from the reels that go viral. Then, implement that in your own reels. Get inspired by those.

You can also revolve your main subject about something else and the the ebook as a close secondary subject at first. I remember seeing a girl with a huge butt, and she wanted to be a writer or something. So, thirsty guys were attracted by the butt and gave the account attention which in turn gave the account more eyes on it and she turned into a writer. She was selling herself but turned it into selling what she really wanted to sell. Not saying you should start selling your butt… but.. maybe it gave you some ideas.

The ebook i wrote is about Height growth, methods for it and the whole book revolves around that, i found about three accounts that seem to be doing well for themselves, all more than 100k followers, tons of reel views, some of them even had 147m views on a reel which i mean, if you have 147m views on a reel and you have 150k followers, you atleast sold 1000 books for 10$ which he sells them for, do the calculations and he made 10k which is pretty solid, but im guessing out of my ass here maybe he made more maybe he didn't. I talked with a guy that has been helping me with my online stuff and he brainstormed some ideas for me which did sound good, wrote all of that down, i found hashtags that could work and i guess i know what the content is going to be, i mostly need it cringy as that's the target audience of all these well off accounts for these type of ebooks.

Yeah deffinetely not much, i did my research then, made an okay reel and thats about it. Since then i haven't tried anything other than to work for somebody as a digital marketing manager of their ig accounts or such, but had no luck with that. The niche my ebook is in is Height growth, methods to make you taller at any age etc... The content im trying to make is cringy but not half assed, as all of these accounts i saw (3 of them) who are well off, have tons of views, followers, and i dont doubt they sold more than 1000 copies of their ebooks, but it all revolves around cringy reels. I talked with a guy yesterday that has been helping me with my online stuff, he brainstormed some ideas for me and i wrote them down. I did some research for hashtags and i know i should target countries or regions with men and possibly women who aren't tall. I thought of making an tiktok account as well so i can just post the same reels over there and get twice the traction, maybe i could run some ig ads too sometimes targeting countires with men who are not tall, and i dont know about other platforms. There is a guy in this thread who told me posting youtube comments from fake accounts could be good, finding a video about height growth niche, and saying i bought (Name of my ebook) and it worked, and botting that comment to 1k likes. That sounds okay too but i'd probably need to make myself a site too, which would not be hard for me to make as i do have some knowledge with wordpress, but i wouldn't know how to rank my site and if that would be needed.

I could do that too lol but i dont know how i could make that as a secondary subject, as im a man and im looking not to show my face in the online businesses i am trying to make, since im not trying to be an influencer lol. I could get a girl to do that for me but now that's something diffrent i guess because i would probably need to make all of my content like that.

It's not to insult you or anything Blade4Pro, we're just all here for one reason or another and acknowledging that is the key to growth. Okay in that case I have lots of ideas for you:

1. Have you seen the videos of people who buy a particular shoe that adds 1-2 inches to men's height? Producing something similar would be a really good angle, focusing on common insecurities men have around their height. I think, although I am generalising, your efforts would be better suited targeting shorter men as this is a huge issue in what women seem to expect today. You could even undercut companies like that by angling towards "Don't buy 10 pairs of height enhancing shoes, just buy our one off eBook".
2. I get you in terms of "cringey" content but you need to remember that to anyone who makes content, we all feel that way. Ask for opinions from people you trust, you could perhaps try to post the links on here and ask for honest appraisal for constructive criticism?
3. Hashtags are no longer on Instagram sadly since 2024, but if you include the keywords in the post or ad description it can have the same effect.
4. TikTok is a good shout. In fact, what I'd be inclined to do is build a website, or a landing page for now. Focus this on the benefits of the book, FAQs, Why this will change men's lives. Then under each section include the same CTA "buy now". That's if you just want to focus on direct sales. Then, I'd make a IG, FB, and Tik Tok account. Post the videos through TikTok as you can get it to post automatically to IG and FB thus giving you 3 streams, and the resolution sizes shouldn't matter too much. The traffic drives to your landing page where they download the book and you passively earn besides an hour or two of making content

So start up costs:

One off domain for a year
One off hosting payment for a year
Your time/money to build or hire a freelancer to build a landing page
Your time/money to make or hire a videographer and/or extras
Potentially money to hire an influencer to make videos with you, or ask a hot friend if you have one lol
Ad budget if you want to see faster results

This way, you can also feature it in the IG and TikTok shop.

As for ranking your site, you have a pretty clear cut way of making money for now. If you wanted it to rank for future products or to reduce your cost in the long run drop me a DM and I'll send you some links to rank your site in under a month

I didn't get insulted dw lol.
Yeah i saw videos of people about height insoles and such, i guess i could make videos about why buy theirs, you can buy mine something like that, also i am aware that i should target shorter men, i also know i should target countries with shorter men but i dont know how to target countries with reels, Ads are easy to setup but reels idk how to target countries with that.
I didn't make any "cringey" reels yet, but i have alot to experiment. For starters i reposted a reel i saw on my ig just so i can have a reel for starters, now i'll make my own content, when i do that i'll give you a link, or maybe you asked me for links of the "cringe" content creators for the same niche?
I didn't know about the hashtags, but wdym keywords or ad description? i'll have to do my research on that lol.
I'll make a tiktok and a fb for my page today too, i'll post the same content on all three, 3x the traffic so not bad.

For the start up costs,

I would probably only need to buy myself a yearly domain if i want a website, but maybe that should be a bit in the future when and if i make like 100-200$ off of this? My budget is really tight and
im mostly looking to save it where i can so i can invest in the right things, as this is not the only online thing i am doing.
I could make the website myself, with wordpress, nothing special but could work, i also did paid wp projects a bit ago and i did well.
I do have some pretty female friends but they are off to college lol cant do much about that, also dont know what i would make as i never made influencer like content, only faceless ones.
Ad's could work and i thought of that, will probably launch them

I thought what a cool way of getting traffic to sell a book.

Hmm, I’m not entirely sure, but marketing an ebook does seem quite different from promoting a local restaurant. While your past success with reels is impressive, reaching a broad audience for an ebook might require a different approach. Maybe experimenting with content that resonates with your target readers could help, though it’s hard to say exactly what will work. As for how often to post reels, it’s unclear—some say consistency matters, but overposting might risk overwhelming your audience. It’s all a bit uncertain, really.

I'll focus on making good content, will post once a day probably, so we will see, lots of people here gave me good tips so i'll take that to mind too

Sounds like you've got a good plan. Keep a journal and test what works for you so you can revert back to ideas too.

Use the Facebook Ads Centre on Facebook, that can also be posted to Instagram and Messenger and you set the location in the first stage. Then when you feel a bit more confident try the Ads manager which allows you to retarget customers, aim for new ones etc. The ad spend adapts as you progress.

I meant your content if you'd like an honest opinion.

Keywords are words you aim to rank for in terms of SEO, but in social media, they're used to help you find someone/something. So if you search height adding shoes in the search bar, results will come up. Give the bios of your reels these keywords and it will help you be found. Do some research though, I'd be inclined to recommend taking a course on Digital Marketing just to get the basics. There's one on hubspot you can do thats six hours but gives you a qualification at the end for free.

As for hosting, you usually get a huge discount for your first year. For one website SEMRush is about £40 for the first year. Hostinger allows you to pay month by month if thats easier.

Good luck with your venture!

Alright, i'll definitely expand my knowledge on digital marketing with courses, searching on bhw too, also thanks for the hosting reccomendations, also my ig page for my ebook is called TallerSecrets on ig, i only set it up on ig as tiktok doesn't allow for custom links so i can add my gumroad, and facebook is kind of being difficult rn since they don't allow me to use a custom username, and i dont want my profile on there to go by my name, but i sent a ticket to the fb support so hopefully they should resolve it. I didn't make any original content yet on my ig, but i'll make my own vid today or tommorow. I did repost 2 reels i found online. Something is worrying me tho, i dont expect my reels to blow up out of nowhere but on the first reposted reel i got 2 views, i posted the second now. Will it be like that if i make my own content too?

It can be, IG is a lot harder to 'blow up' entirely organically. Engage the post with your other accounts so it appears in the feeds of your followers, nobody wants to be the first to like or comment on something.

Assuming I found the right account, it's two videos, one with an interview with Joe Rogan and one with an athletic guy being unmoggable - I'd say your set up of the account is decent. I like the layout of the link, although you could do with some reviews. If you don't have any yet, it might be worth considering leaving one yourself or asking friends or family and start collecting them on a platform like Trust Pilot, Google reviews, FB reviews when your account is set up. It's quite common not to have the same @ handle. My one for a porn website has an annoying underscore in front of it.

In terms of content, I'd be inclined to change the interview with Joe Rogan to discuss your e-book. "Did you hear of the eBook that tells you how to increase your height naturally?". I'm not really sure from the first video what you're trying to say to be honest. The reel description for it could be 'How to look/become taller', 'Short guy problems', that kind of thing. Have a look at what shorter men search for. You could try Google Trends for some ideas. The logo is quite cool!

Thanks for the feedback! I just reposted two videos not focusing on content too much to see if i’ll get 80-100 people atleast reach but i didn’t which is why im wondering if i should do this on this new account, or should i migrate the account to and aged old meme account that i used in 2023, i had reach on there and i was getting atleast 100 views on every reel, 100k being the most, so maybe its better for me to delete this new account and just reformat my old meme page account?

That could be a very good shout to reformat your old one, I'd keep the new one as a back up though! Just bear in mind you might have followers drop off as its a change in content
