You can do FX trading with Bitcoin which will allow you to increase your crypto assets but only if you have some previous knowledge how to trade Forex. If not, you have option to start learning now which will take you maybe few months or to stay off the market

1. Sell 1/5 of it now
2. Spend every waking moment of the next 2 weeks researching different plug-and-play algorithmic trading bot platforms (unless you can code well in python or c++, and then do the obvious).
3. Use the funds from sale to sign-up - search for something with a good reputation, that doesn't trade only low liquidity (non-realistic) trades, ideally that returns 5% per month reliably at a minimum in both bull and bear conditions and has solid risk analysis mechanisms.
4. Kick that bad boy into auto and let it cruise.

* There are a range of different approaches that yield good returns in volatility and as good during bear as during bull. I run a Slack for crypto algo traders, we've got guys from hedges in there - believe me it's more than possible, just an absolute shit-ton of dodgy signals providers where it's literally impossible to execute on the trades they so generously give you. Avoid them, stick to high liquidity algo trading only

any platform you can recommend?

I code my own algos so am only passing the idea of build pre-build software to anyone that doesn't code...

Alternate 1. Don't spend any money, learn Python inside and out.
Alternate 2. Simultaneously read Quantitative Trading by Ernest Chan a few times back to back.
Alternative 3. Start with something simple like an MA crossover bot. Build your own backtesting engine, and iterate through thousands of combinations of MA params.. optimised MA crossover can be surprisingly profitable over the long term.
Alternative 4. Move onto something meatier like triangular cross-exchange arbitrage (learn c++ for anything high-speed like this) or sentiment-driven algos (meatier aka better)

This is my opinion only.

  1. Trade your 50% in Bitmex, BUY TRON and EOS, 25% each in a dip price and come back after 1-3 years.
  2. HOLD your 25% BTC
  3. The Remaining 25%...Explore opportunities here and Be an IM and upgrade your account in BHW to boost your income.

thanks for that detailed respond. Have some c++ background, but i guess python is the way with algos and stuff?
Cheers

I would say as some other guy in the start us the thread -> Bitmex leverage trading

I'm just a newbie...but I own 0.57
I need some methods or steps to increase it.
Any experienced money makers can help me,please?

U can invest on hyip site, i do it for one month.. u get profit 2.1% daily from your deposit for 20 day.. after 20 day your deposit will return..

Trading altcoins is certainly bringing more profit than holding Bitcoin. However, when you have BTC and hodl it, you can be 100% sure that your returns will be really high. With alts, you can gain or lose.

Buy various accounts (netflix, steam, hulu ect) from people who accept BTC and sell those accounts for increased rates.

I need a double facepalm meme after reading this. So many fallacies I don't even know where to begin. SMH

1. Sign up on Bitmex.
2. Create a free TradingView account.
3. Grab the free Trendmaster indicator by Ichimoku Scholar (not my indicator nor is he asking me to talk about it, just find it handy).
4. Read his guide on how to use it.
5. Make a little profit while you get used to it all and learn more about trading.

Do people just spit out words? Be careful OP, you will just most of the btc If you listen to some of these responses.

You can definitely explore some lending programs or staking cryptocurrencies.

And please, stay the hell away from Bitmex - that place is nothing short of a slaughterhouse.

Do Trading! But first do a research about coins that you will buy.

Convert it to ETH and then lend it via Compound Dapp. Warning: project is, just like everything in crypto, highly experimental.

Curious about this compound dapp. I know the basics, but have not used. Have you been able to make decent money off the interest?
