As most of you know I'm a designer, I am starting an offline design + marketing company in my home city. This is the first draft of it:

I like it.

You have probably tried this already but what happens if you shrink the canvas to make the image fill it more? And have you tried making the inside of the helmet (the face part) not transparent?

Not saying it would look better, just wondered

I personally think adding a bit of colour would stop it from looking too bland, maybe keep the background pattern but make it two shades of blue. With a red helmet and a middling blue tint to the visor bit.

Other than that i really like it.

2nd one looks better. maybe you can try adding another color in the mix for some contrast. or you can add another element to fit in with the space theme - like a small rocket or comet with marketing and design written over it...

Yeah I think I'll work on adding more color.
 
Why have an image other than what you want to say on your logo. Get rid of the image, get rid of the period

Keep it plain and simple. What is important is if people can remember and recognize your logo. It does not have to be state of an art design.

Wow. Never heard something so stupid lol I'm sorry. To me this is a pretty basic and I want the spaceman to be my symbol. Do you think every logo should just be the name of their company and that's it? LOL
 
I think its pretty cool looking. Some people might not know what the helmet is though.
