First of all, greetings to all.
I have been reading the forum for a very long time as a guest, and since I have just come to seek advice, I had to register.
Anyway, I am writing to you from Bosnia (southeast Europe- non EU), which is probably very important for this topic.
So, a family member has been involved in printing, embroidery, manufacture of wearing apparel (shirts, hoodies etc) and similar things for many years.
He has some "regular" customers and jobs, he is satisfied and has no desire or will to expand.
He is a slightly older man, not very familiar with internet trends and opportunities..
In a recent conversation with him, I got the green light to start whatever I want and to have all the possible infrastructure and professional support from him.
Eh now, a thousand ideas came to my mind, but what to decide, what to go for… T-shirts, paintings on canvas, hoodies… all in one… what topics, sports, movies, music…
Whether to start with a new instagram/FB page or buy one with lots of followers…
Well, I hope I was able to explain to you briefly, if someone has a smart idea or some kind of
or business proposal, I'll be happy to listen.
I've been thinking for a few months and I'm still at the beginning...

First of all where do you want to sell your products?
If locally you can do that but if you want to sell worldwide I find it easier to design t-shirt via website like ******* and let it handle the print and shipping

I thought locally, Bosnia or maybe EX Yugoslavia only, cause the shipping from nonEU to EU is too expensive.

If you've been thinking for months and not taking any action, then you're probably just another of the startup kids that this guy deals with a few times a year that think they can go on and expand the business beyond millions. As you're finding reality is harder than you first thought.

You should find out who supplies ALL the local markets & smaller brand shops. Finding out exactly where you are is your first task. Then establishing relationships with qualifying leads. If you can manage some evidence of sales growth with your local market, then you can go international and make phone calls as a distributor, or wholesaler to larger shops.

Bolje napravi sopstvene instagram i fb stranice nego da kupuješ jer ti ljudi verovatno nebi bili zainteresovani, a ako bas insistiras da kupujes odkupi neki neaktivan nalog vezan za odeću. Sto se tice logo preporucujem ti da napravis brend.
 
Start with the customer first.

First figure out whom you want to serve and ask yourself it they have money.
2nd of all why serve them, what are they passionate about, what do they care about, what do they hate?

You can start by creating one of custom t-shirts 100 exclusive designs for $50 each for example trash-talking someone / something your target market hates with a passion (Trump / Biden / The Left / The Right / Men / Straight White Men - whatever), or something they love (family member / pet dog / football team / athlete).

Before you invest heavily into anything / any design - take pre-orders for the design concept at 50% off - hire someone on fiverr to make mockups for you for $20.

I was looking to launch a streetwear brand recently, nothing ordinary just branded tags and simple t-shirts and hoodies for start.
I could not find the perfect provider, I was looking for something like dropshipping with my custom designs, even tho I found some they wanted me to pay upward for the labels and tags so making something like this could work, make a merch store for artists or smth like that, the project should be easy for clients like shopify, custom domain support etc. If you don't want to start that seriously you can try to find clients in streetwear communities, there are some sub-reddits and maybe discord servers too where people are looking for prints or labels or blanks etc. I found a guy from a sub-reddit but he would ship outside EU so it is not worthless to advertise in those communities.
 
Hi 2 all,
I started a little bit in this business, mostly through Instagram.
since I have a target group of people, I need a way to scrape Instagram followers of 10-20 profiles and send them private messages with my newsletter.
It is perhaps a total of 50k people. I guess it's not smart for me to do that with the main IG profile.
Does anyone have a best way to do this?
