Hi Everyone =)
So...There is a link I need removed from google search results. Its basically a defamatory blog post from 2009.
Is there anyone here who can do this ?
Its not that big of a deal, but it is kind of getting on my nerve, so I want to see if any of you smart minds know how this can be done.
My account doesn't let me respond to pm yet, so just please reply here with how I can contact you and how much do you want for removing it.
Thank you and happy Friday =)

You can remove that link using webmaster tools!

Its not my post =( Someone else wrote it. I tried to contact them but since its a 7 year old post, no-one is responding =(

The link is on a blog you do not own and cannot contact the owners.

By now im sure you have disavowed the link but the blog still shows up in search results.

Can it be removed by SEO? Answer is No.

Can it be moved further down the rankings so that it doesnt show on page one or two or what ever? Answer Yes but it will take time/effort/money

There are members in the market place who advertise Reputation Management who know can help you push this blog lower in rankings for a fee, ive never used any myself so cannot recommend any particular person.

With information about your site and the defamation blog they can help.

Failing that (not wanting Reputation Management) you an wait to see if the blog can be taken/purchased by yourself and change it to a positive review.

OR you can keep looking for help as this is a forum about blackhat seo (and seo in general) and not blackhat hacking

Best of luck

Exact match sape links, from the low quality sape sites.

Don't overdo it - a few hundred should be enough to attract a penalty.

Spam the hell out of the blog with low quality links and try to rank other properties in the SERP.

To remove a url from Google, first make sure that you are logged into your Google accounts. Next, go to the Google webmaster tools and click on the New Removal Request. Then, type in the exact url that you want removed and then click continue. Finally, click Remove this page.

And if its on someone elses blog then you can use Google Disavow Tool!

The disavow tool is used to reject a backlink pointing to your website, not remove results from the SERPs.

Are you also referring to the Remove URLs tool in the Google Search Console in the first half of your post? If so then that's not how the tool works either, and the removal is temporary.
Temporarily remove URLs that you own from search results. To remove content permanently, you must remove or update the source page.
