I Lost Almost Everything TODAY - April 24, 2012

Crashus,

Sorry man, I did not read past the link in your PM. I just replied.......

actually this is good because sooner or later people will use BING and YAHOO because Google gives crappy result and Google will die.

This is the time to start using paid traffic (not adwords of course) and learn real business - not spend 90% of your time on "making links" - which is completely useless in the long run and teaches you nothing about business and converting. This applies to me as much as everyone though.

This is absolute bullshit, threads like this are appearing every week. Luckily only 3 of my sites have been hit, one went from #1 to #10 other two went from #2 to nowhere.

Scary stuff, I'm tempted now to stop my linkpush subscription and hold off on any link building campaigns for now. Focus on social media promotion instead, im thinking its far too dangerous to mess around with mass link building for now.

Build sites, earn quick cash, sell out when they're on a high... invest in property.. that's my plan. Something that google can't screw you over on a whim.

I'm still on the same position, and i using standard link building diversity, full diversity, without some special strategies.

Google made several changes and now only those site will rank high which have high quality backlinks and high quality content so do only quality work.

Very incorrect. They are penalizing good quality just because it has some black hat backlinks. That is where problem arise. If they were only penalizing bad content that would not be a problem.

It seems like they focused their panda update on crappy contextual backlinks only, because I have a few websites with only blog comment backlinks and bookmarks and their ranking seems to be almost unaffected by this panda update. But maybe in the near future these backlinking technique will be slapped as well :S.

Its quite simle boys.... but you are not listening to them are you. Keyword is "OVEROPTIMIZATION"

Its simple mathmatics - do not use a double barrel gun to kill a mosquito. If your keyword difficulty is simple - then send weak links to it until it get to where you want it to be. And, if it is tough to rank for - avoid it. Google is a big dog and it will continue to think as such.

I am sure all the little guy trying to rank for 1500/month or less keywords are registering more profits. Personally, i try to steer awayf from commercial keywords or anything that seems like everyone would like to have a bite in.

Concentrate your effort and time to digging up the shit from the internet and turning it into gold. Stop buying emd and snatch the old domain names. Am sure with what is happening - those of you who have strong belief that emd are all and all , now know that this is not true. Until the end of time the name of the game is reputation and strategy. Avoid the spotlight - we are blackhaters - so lets keep it that way and keep thinking that way.

I repeat - make money in the dark. Its cheaper , safer and longtime. I had a page rank for a 40,000/mnth exact match keyword for over 3 months - i monetized it using cpa. Though, i have lost this ranking due to my greed to push the page to no 1.

I will not post any proof of this as i have no time for doubting thomas - if you cant believe it/understand it - then you can never do it even if i sat you down and showed you how.

There are several thousands of high search keywords that are worth crap to the so called big boy cos - they have not got the time figure out how to monetize the keyword.

Where the "big traffic" with Bing and Yahoo? I rank a lot of sites with them and get peanuts for traffic from them! But after this update I am hoping the world starts to use them!

bing and yahoo there's a big traffic with that two search engine..

According to matt's blog spot on google webmaster central, this is the just begining hahahaha. "
In the next few days, we?re launching an important algorithm change targeted at webspam"
I LOVE YOU GOOGLE....NOT

on my own experience, one of my main keyword got deindexed, but another 1 (with safe article, blog comments and backlinks) suddently got SERP rank boost....

One of the site im working got better rankings, 30% traffic increase. Thats it for my site..

Note -> my site has links from every possible platform - bookmarks, wikis, web2, articles, social, profiles, press release, doc sharing, gues blogging, list goes on..

gonna wait for more time to see if any major changes appear.

EDIT: May be its coz, my site has low bounce rate (35%) and avg visitor time is around 2 minutes?

This is ridiculous advice...
There's always a way to scam google into a top spot on an ultra competitive keyword.

Maybe this will help on some of you. It`s about over-optimization.

I am backlinks seller on fiverr from more than 2 years. In last 30 days, over 20 webmasters send me massages about rank dropping and guest what - every of the sites was microniche for adsense. All they have the some problems in their on-page SEO. Some of the sites was with bad on-page seo, but more of them was with the following problem: 100% keyword density in the site`s title and 100% density in h1 tag on the beginning. (100% density - understand only the keyword). On some meta descriptions, alt texts and h2 was the same. I recommend them to reduce the density, something that my gig is not about and guest what... I have 5 personal massages with thanks after on-page seo changes and few backlinks (I selling link wheels).

This is bigger than meta-tag optimization. Keyword density in the description and title don't matter. It looks like EMDs have less weight which would cause "MNS sites using adsense" to drop. But this is a small part of it.

Matt Cutts must be laughing his ass off sick hahah. Not gonna lie, so am I - I sell SEO services to webmasters.

Business
Is
BOOMING

XD

Ye right, you dick, what are you going to do SAVE THE WORLD?

Have you ever thought to, I don't know, do some market research on bing and yahoo?
Maybe those terms you are aiming for on google just aren't there on bing, but there are others?

I doubt you have done that, but yeah ...

Same here, my main e-commerce site that makes $10,000 a month has gone from 5 and 7 to nowhere. The sites that are now ranking highly for those keywords are EMD's with NO content at all (some are parked), pages with keyword spamming or 1 page/article wordpress sites. Really makes sense....?!
