Choosing keywords is a very large subject, so to make it simple, you need first to invest in a good keywords softawre. Their are interesting free possibilites, but if you want are serious choose something like ahrefs or even semrush. Coming back to keywords research their is a lot of methods and a lot to say, but to make things simple start with the most straightforward methods, competitors benchmark. Just start making a list of 3 or 4 of your competitiors and use Semrush, Ahrefs or whatever to see what are their best keywords. This is the first simple step.

Then, as you'll find hudrends or thousands of keywords ideas, you'll have other problems, how to choose between those keywords for example. Newbies tend to choose the keywords that offer more search volume, unfortunatly those are not always a good choice esepcially for a new website because of the competition (those keywords are usualy hard to rank for), so you have to make choices, targetting niche keywords(longer keywords, with lower search volumes, and sometimes lower competition) is a good one.
